Food and supplies

3 months later

Gabriel walked threw the forest with his rifle in his hands and his machete on his back, he was walking with Kenny by his side as they scouted the forest for food to eat.

Shortly after settling in the Motor inn they found a new person named Mark who had a lot of food with him that everyone was welcome to eat for a short time but after just 3 months the food was starting to run out, not a problem for the machine but for the humans it was a problem. Gabriel was the most active participant when it came to protecting and finding food for the group mostly so Clementine gets to eat. He did longer watches on top of the RV and partook in a lot of gatherings for food whenever they went back into the city, he also took the least amount of food when rations were given out to which Lilly had begun to notice, what she didn't notice however was that any rations he got he just gave to Lee, Clem or anyone who needed it.

Gabriel of course didn't need to eat so when he was strictly told to eat by Lilly, as she worried for him becoming weak, he just put it in his mouth and put it down his "throat." He then would empty it off in the grass or if he ate it in one piece would then give it to someone. He mostly gave his food to Clementine as he took a certain liking to her and he made sure to try and be near her or keep her in his sights at all times, which Lee began to notice. After explaining to Lee that he gave Doug mercy instead of a cruel death Lee accepted Gabriel and let him be around Clem more than others, he even let him watch her and tell her funny stories about when he was "younger." She would always enjoy that and sometimes everyone would gather around to hear the tales, Larry even cracked a smile a few times.

Gabriel had become the best things in the group, sometimes making everyone forget about the bad stuff going on and just enjoy the moment. He was in the soft spot of many people's hearts, especially Clementine. While staying with the group he had found a passion for singing and would sing in his room, sometimes Clem would ask him to sing for her which he would happily oblige.

He never knew what it was that is suddenly giving him a change of heart but he did know that it had something to do with the girl with the blue D hat.

"Hey Gabriel, think we'll find any food this time around?" Kenny suddenly asked  from beside him. Gabriel turned his head and gave a thoughtful expression before answering.

"I hope so, I'm not really that hungry much but what about you?" Kenny looked at Gabriel with a shocked expression before sputtering out his words.

"Are you kidding me, I'm fucking starving!" He said flabbergasted. Gabriel let out a chuckle at his expression but Kenny continued before he could say anything. "At least Duck and Clem aren't to hungry. Thanks for giving your rations to Duck yesterday, he was very happy to not go to bed hungry."

Gabriel let a small smile graze his lips, while it was true he was trying to imbed himself in the group by gaining favor with everyone he did also notice how hungry the kids and some of the adults had gotten, Mark especially was bad as he hallucinated one time and ate air. Gabriel tries to dismiss any food he gets from Lilly because it could go to someone who needs it, if he were human he'd probably be dead from all the food he hasn't eaten.

"Ah no problem, Duck looked like he needed it and your a good friend so I hate to see your kid hungry." Kenny smiled at Gabriel's words and patted him on the back with his spare hand, his other one held a bat.

"Thanks Gabriel, I appreciate it."

"You're welcome Ken."

Gabriel turned to look back toward when the screech of a man met his ears, he turned his head quickly and started running toward the sound with Kenny following him.
