Because after harboring feelings of love for the person he'd been avoiding for three entire months, Donghyuck's body had propelled through the process at back-breaking speeds: Skin breached and torn open by rapidly forming bones; blood running high and fast through molding muscles; feathers cracking through newly developed flesh—all in a matter of seconds.
