I boarded my flight right after I said goodbye to him.

As I boarded, I whispered, "I love you Nathan Adler." But when I turned, he was gone.

The flight was four hours. I put in my AirPods and opened Spotify.

I put on my love song playlist that reminded me of Nathan.

The flight was boring. I always hated airplanes. They were too crowded.

As soon as we landed, our trip started.

First month without him:

I missed Nathan a lot, but I could never find any service at the hotel.

I had my own room. It was right across from someone I had met on the plane. He was from Fresno too. And he was really fun, he was probably the only not boring thing on the flight.

His name was Auden Villarreal. He moved to Fresno a week before school was over.

"Olivia are you ready?" He knocked on the door.

"Yes I'm coming Auden hold on." I went to go open the door, there he was waiting for me.

Our parents had been talking and decided to get dinner together.

As the adults sat together, conversating, me and Auden were walking around the beach.

"So You have a boyfriend back in Fresno?" He turned towards me while walking.

"Uh yeah I do. His names Nathan." I smiled.

"Ohh."

"You? Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Uh well I just moved there like a week ago sooo.."

"Right." I chuckled.

"My mom just texted me to come back to the hotel."

"Mine just did too."

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I was just admiring the view."

He smiled at me and I returned the smile.

We walked back to the hotel and went up to our rooms.

"Goodnight....?"

"Olivia."

"Auden."

We shook hands.

"Goodnight Olivia."

"Goodnight Auden."

Two months without him:

Me and Auden have been becoming friends more and more the past month.

But Nathan was all I thought about.
