Katsuki has been diligently working on the issues with the rogues, constantly planning through with his parents and keeping contact with the Todoroki Pack since they were allies. Kaito had also talked to him, calling his father in front of him and his parents, although the call wasn't exactly what they wanted to hear.
Seiichi hadn't given his son any information at all, telling Kaito that he should just come back and forget about everything. Of course, the raven-haired Alpha played it off, saying that he could continue to feed on the Bakugo Pack and relay information back to him but Seiichi didn't agree.
"I don't believe him," Kaito told Katsuki and the former Superiors once the call had ended. "This isn't like him. I know that he isn't going to quit just like that when this was his motive for years."
Katsuki clicked his tongue, turning his attention on his recently mated Superior Beta. "Have you heard back from half and half? We might need him faster than we think," Katsuki clearly didn't believe Seiichi's words either and it just gave him more reason to believe that the rogue would want to appear when they were least expecting it. Katsuki also believed that Seiichi had to know that they were listening to Kaito's calls. Not that the rogue would think that his son would help Katsuki but more like Kaito was caught and they made him call.
