Katsuki was running, along with some members of his pack and Shoto from the moment that rogue told him where Izuku was.
The blond Alpha was serious when he said that he'd make a home run out of the rogue's heart if he had him wasting his time. They've been travelling for a few good hours up north and as opposed to the few dead animals they came around, nothing else could tie them to finding the rogues.
Katsuki was starting to get angry, more so than he already was. Horrible things were running through his mind like whether he would get to Izuku in time or if he would have to go through the pain of another broken heart. Katsuki couldn't deal with that and no matter how many times he tortured Seiichi, if he took Izuku from him then that would never fill the space of a heart that was broken twice.
