"And what's my Alpha up to?" The voice coming from the door forced me to turn my head in that direction. I couldn't help the smile that was making its way onto my face as I saw who the person wasstandingby the arch.
"Just separating the pack's expenses," I replied, leaning into the touch of my mate when I felt his arms surrounding me. A chuckle left my parted lips when I heard the sounds of the raspberries coming from his mouth but could also feel them as his lips came into the contact with my cheeks.
"How much more is there to be done?" He asked and I hummed while thinking. Scanning through the various papers on the desk in front of me, I quickly approximated soon coming to my conclusion.
"Just a couple more," I replied while properly putting the scattered ones in a pile leaving out the three that I had to work on.
I heard a hum in reply and the hands that were around me had loosened. My mate was now in front of me, his hands folded and his eyebrow raised causing me to look at him in confusion.
