Song - Love Builds a Garden by Elton John

"This is it." Timmy said.
We were going hunting for a larger place to live and Timmy had suggested a house. I was a little daunted at first but we settled on the idea to just have a look.

Currently we were outside a smallish sort of grey house in queens. Mike had been dating this girl called Natalie who was a real estate agent. So, she was taking us to a few different places we might be interested in.

Natalie had a really high pitch voice that ring in our ears. She looked exactly like a barbie doll, well if barbie dolls showed off their cleavage.
"So Whattaya think of the outside?" Natalie asked in her shrill voice.
"It's nice." Said Tim and I nodded in agreement.

"Cmon let's go inside." She lead us into the house. It wasn't massive but it seemed cosy and homely. The walls were cream and the flooring was hard wood brown.
"So you've got this sweet entryway and the stairs are right there, oh and through here's the living room."

There was a big bay window.
"Oh Timmy look at the window." I said excitedly clinging onto his arm.
He smiled brightly.
"Yeah it's nice isn't it?" Squeaked Natalie.
"The kitchen is just behind this door. It's the only room with furniture at the moment."

She went on as we walked into the kitchen; "The current owners actually won the lottery so that's why they moved out."
"Wow." Timothée uttered to himself.
"So yeah you really gotta use your imagination with this place."

Upstairs she showed us the bathroom and the two bedrooms.
"This is the main bedroom. You could have your bed there and a closet there per say." She rambled.
The room was nice, I liked the big windows.

"This is the smaller room. Y'know...for the baby."
Emotion whirled over me as I imagined a little bassinet in the corner and maybe a bookshelf and toys and- tears began to roll down my face.
"Oh babe." Timothée said noticing my tears and pulling me close to his body.
"Could we just have a moment alone Natalie?" He asked.
"Oh yeah of course." She squeezed past us.

"What's wrong baby. Do you not like this one?" He said trying to catch my gaze and stroking my hair.
"I- I just. I can really see us living here y'know?" I looked up at him. "Having the baby here. I can't believe this is happening." I wept into his shoulder.

"It's alright." He soothed me.
"I'm sorry Timmy I'm a little emotional." I sniffled.
"Don't worry about it baby. You're allowed to be emotion for the next eight months." He laughed lightly.
I pulled back from his shoulder to look at him.

I laughed softly too.
"I was the one as well who wasn't sure about buying a house."
"You sure now?" He asked.
I nodded.

...

"Hey Natalie," Timothée said coming out of the room hand in hand with me. "I think we wanna make an offer."
"Oh great!" She exclaimed. "I'll call my boss right now!"

...

About a week later Timothée phoned me while he was at work, I was home watching friends.

T- Y/n!
Y- Yes? Hi Tim.
T- Great news baby!
Y- What?
T- We got the house.
Y- Oh my god! Really?
T- Yeah I just got off the phone with Natalie.
Y- That's amazing baby! We're gonna be like proper adults now with a house and a mortgage...
T- And a baby!
Y- Oh yeah that too.
T- Listen darlin' I gotta go. I just wanted to call and let you know.
Y- Thanks for letting me know, love ya baby.
T- Love you too bye.
Y-bye
