**Riley's POV**

I get up to see the sun shining in through my curtains

I look at my phone and see it was 10:05am I get out of bed and go through my dresser and grab a black skirt with daisy's on it and a white t-shirt.

I jump In the shower and wash my hair and body.

I get out dry my hair and put it In a side braid out my clothes on and go Down stairs my mom left a note

"GOING TO WORK BE HOME ABOUT 5 I BAKED COOKIES TAKE THEM ACROSS THE STREET AND GIVE THEM TO THE Neighbors"
Love mom xxxx

"Ugh why do I have to do everything"
"Jakeeeee!!" I yelled upstairs to him

" whatttt" he yelled back

"I'm going across the street to the neighbors house I'll be back in a little bit"

"okay what ever" he yells back

I roll my eye and put on my white low cut converses.

Grabbed the cookies out of the oven. my mom turned it off put kept them in their to keep them warm.

I walk across the street and knock on the door

A lady answers it

"Hi" I said

"Hello sweetie" she says with a small smile

"I'm Riley Parks, i just moved here and my mom made cookies for you and your family" I said

"Oh thanks I'm Elizabeth" she said
"Would you like to come in?"

"Um.. Sure" I say

"How do you like it here so far?" Elizabeth says

"It's really nice but I haven't really seen a lot of North Carolina."

"Oh well, my boys would be happy to take you around town so you could sight see."
"Boys!!" Elizabeth yelled

"Yeah mom ?" one said

he looks about my age, blue eyes.. the ones where you'd just stare at for a long time and not get bored but if you look too long he'd get creeped out

"This is Riley she just moved here and doesn't know anyone so I was wondering. If you wanted to show her around?"

"Um yeah, I guess by the way I'm Hayes." he said looking in my eyes, I just smiled.

"Well, let me get changed and I can take you now and we can walk around" he said.

"Yeah sounds fun."

He ran up the stairs and I'm guessing his room to get changed.

5mins Later he came down with a black shirt and red shorts.

"Are you ready?" he questioned.

"Yeah, just let me text my brother so he knows where I am" I told him.

We walked down the street and it was kinda awkward at first but then we started to get to know each other a little better like, he has a brother named Nash and his parents are divorced.. he didn't say much about that situation and I didn't want to pressure him either.
