Both of them had scars on their bodies. Memories from their past engraved into their bodies.

Norton would always make sure to kiss every one of them before going to bed, making Naib giggle like an idiot. The fact that the smaller one was horribly ticklish didn't help.

While Norton would kiss his scars, Naib would often inspect his burns in an overly curious way, pointing out how some of them looked like clouds or animals. He'd make up little stories about them and Norton couldn't help but be oddly amused by them.
