We were back home and I had already started with the stake whole rome sat on the kitchen counter waiting
Swinging his legs around head in his phone
If you couldn't already tell ,even though me and rome are the same age he's the kid in the house , because of his stature everyone has always been more protective of him even me .. well he'll mess someone up too I don't doubt that but he's still a kid
He acts like on too he wants what he wants he will make tantrums ..he will pout his way out of trouble and well he's a sweetheart so we usually also give in too
"So why were you and phi pick fighting about now ?" I asked
"Don't make me start ! That.. argh he refused to let me drive but insisted that I accompany him home like what a waste of time !" He said and i chuckled
"Maybe he wanted you to get used to the route "
"You really like to take his side don't you !" Rome scoffed Making me laugh
"I try and find something positive yes ." I replied
"So I'm negative ?" Rome asked all offended
"No you cutie pie you're well you're agressive " I said making him roll his eyes
"Shut up ! But still he was wrong making me accompany him like why ?! We sat in absolute silence . Not even music hell I even put my phone on silent !" Rome said and i laughed
"Well you could have started a conversation "
"Why would I if I know it'll end in a shouting match ! No thank you " rome shrugged going back to his phone
"Fair point made .. either way I hope you guys get along sooner or later .. the job actually pays rather generously considering its us doing basic chores and driving someone around " I said and he hummed
"I'll tolerate him untill he fires me ." Rome shrugged and I laughed
"Ah ah just go set the table !" I said and he just nodded jumping off the counter setting the table up
"How was your day ?" Rome asked
"Oh it was alright.. Pete is a bit annoying at times but he's a good guy " I said as I plate up our food
"Good for you then " rome sighed and I just nodded bringing everything to the table
"Oh mae was asking if we're free to visit this weekend ?" I said
"Are we ?" Rome asked
"I don't know... I'll ask tomorrow" I shrugged
"Yeah alright I'll do too " rome replied eating his food

The morning happened faster than I'd like if I'm being honest
I had to get up earlier than I ever have to make mine and Rome's breakfast get ready and head over to Pete's house
Hence here I was standing infront of Pete's apartment waiting for him to open up
He opened the door his eyes barely open his hair all over the place he rubbed the inner corner of his eye trying to get the sleep boogers out
Hes wearing a clearly oversized white shirt with stains along with shorts
I held back a giggle seeing him like this he looked.. almost cute
He looked at me for a second before moving back into the house .. I'd only assume I'm supposed to follow
