"Good also you're not attending classes but again that doesn't mean I'll be lenient while grading your papers " my professor said and i just smiled and nodded
"Absolutely miss don't worry" I smiled and still just gave me a side eye
"Why do you have to work anyways huh ? You're still a student .. is everything alright at home ?" She asked
Can she just let me go ? Pete's going to strangle me if I'm any late
"Khap ma'am everything is perfectly fine , my parents and I we figured it'll be better for me to learn how to be financially independent .. considering the path I'm going in " I smiled and she gave me a confused look
"What do you mean nong ?"
"Uh.. once I graduated I can't immideately jump into being a director.. right I need exposure for that .. and it's not always that you know you get to have a booming start from the get go right so.. that's why " I replied giving an awkward smile
I can't really tell her that actually my family is super rich .. royalty infact so just to make sure that the money doesn't get to our heads our parents keep us in check
"Meh isn't that a little too pessimistic way of thinking ?" She asked
"I'd say a more realistic way rather than pessimistic but " I said quickly stopping when my professor gave me a weird look
"Eheh but then again what do I know.. Miss I really need to leave I told my boss I'll be back by now " I said looking towards my watch
She raised her hand quickly waving me off

I walked out and heaved a huge sigh
"She was really in a mood to talk today" I shook my head
Well I haven't giving Pete any particular time that I'll be back by but.. I think it's best to go sooner than later it might very well be that , that idiot explodes when I get there
