When I say I ran back to Pete's apartment I mean I sprinted back to his place
I don't do well with people crying like that
I dumped everything on the coffee table and ran up to check up on him
I walked in and saw him lying on his bed his shoes still on his feet his phone in his hand still rather close to his face
"Pete " I called out once I reached to his side slouching down a little to check his forehead
Low and behold the man is burning up
I sighed , I was about to go grab the first aid kit when I felt pete hold onto me
Huh ?
Pete completely wrapped himself around my waist holding onto me rather tightly his face plastered into the side of my waist
I looked down at the top of his head confused
"Pete?" I called out
That's when I heard the muffled crying
Why is he crying ?
"Pete ? What happened ? Why are you crying ? " I asked as I tried to pry him off my stomach but failed miserably
Isn't he sick ? Why is he so strong ?
"You *hik* you came " he cried his voice very muffled and strained
"Ai'kao " he added
"Pete ? What happened ? I'm here don't worry you'll be okay " I said trying to calm him down
"I don't like being sick " he cried louder
"No one does pete " I chuckled
"Ah ah let go of me I need to get the thermometer and medicines for you " I said and he shook his head
"Pete you need to let go of me " I said and he held onto me tighter
"You'll leave " he said
"I won't I promise " I said and he looked up his eyes looking puffy and red
Tears already rolling down
I wiped away the tears before smiling at him
"I'll be right back okay " I smiled and he nodded
"Okay" he finally said and loosened up a little
I put him back to bed before running down to grab everything
Argh he hasn't eaten much all day I can't give him medicines like this
I'll just quickly make the soup it doesn't that that long because I genuinely don't think that he'll let me come back down to make soup without creating a scene
Alright got the soup ,first aid , ice and water for the cold press .. should I take that later ?
Uh I'll take it now only
I made my way back up I slowly opened the door and found the sick man asleep I put everything near his bed
I don't want to wake him up if he's asleep luckily he has a mini fridge under his side table so I can just keep the ice and water in there
I arranged everything before finally straightening up and sighing I looked over only to see that pete still had his shoes on
I shook my head before taking his shoes off keeping the socks still on
