        Fallen

        

        I remember that day we met,

        Oh, but how could I forget?

        Your smile changed my world.

        Now the thought brings it back down.

        I fell in love when you picked me up,

        In that beat up, spray paint covered, truck.

        Maybe I didn't know it, I couldn't show it,

        But I was falling.

        

        You told me I was with the wrong guy,

        I didn't know at the time.

        But here I am, asking why,

        you aren't mine.

        

        Asking when you always told me you were so in love,

        Finding ways to get your arm around me.

        Told me I was more than enough,

        When I didn't know how to be.

        But now you're gone and I'm alone.

        I'll never love another like I love you.

        My heart's so cold, cold like stone,        

        but my love is true.

        I've fallen in love with you.

        You fell out of love with me,

        If you ever loved me anyway.

        You always just said maybe.

        

        Maybe I've fallen for the wrong guy again.

        But for some reason, you're still worth it.

       Worth all the pain, all the blood,

        Even if you died, you'd still be perfect.

        

        I just wish you could see it.
