Remember when we were in love?
Held on to every second together as if it were our last.
Is that no longer enough?
Is it me, or is it just your past?
Is it so hard for me to ask,
If we could ride home in your jeep just one last time?
Forget the past,
So I can pretend you're still mine?
I know it's all over,
We've lost touch.
Is it because you're sober,
Would you love me if you were still drunk?
If you're taking me home,
Come home with me,
I can't stand to be alone.
Can't stand knowing it isn't meant to be.
I know it's all over.
You never planned to stay forever.
Only cause you're sober,
that's why we aren't together....
