Stuck in a tree

I heard Malfoy yelling across the yard. I was walking to potions when I heard yelling, me being the person I am went to go see what was happening. As I got closer I could tell it was coming from the apple tree. Although I was confused on who would be in an apple tree I decided to still investigate. I saw apples being thrown from the tree onto someone. I couldn't make out who was at the bottom of the tree I am guessing the were asleep though. I knew who was in the tree, it was Malfoy. He was blushing like crazy probably from embarrassment. I don't blame him though I'd be pretty embarrassed if I got stuck in a tree also. As much as my hero complex wanted to help the distressed Malfoy, and I would but who said I couldn't tease him a little before I do. 'Hey Malfoy!' I hollered this seemed to catch his attention as he snapped his head around to face me. His face got even redder if possible and he grumpily turned back to throwing apples at the sleeping Blaise, and I thought Ron was a heavy sleeper. 'You need any help Malfoy' I remarked with a smirk on my face. This is priceless I mean the amount of blackmail I can get from this incident is....wow. "Oh shut up Potter don't you have a near-death experience to attend to" although I don't like the git I have to admit he is pretty cute when grumpy. 'No Malfoy but I do believe we have a Potions class to get to in....exactly five minutes' I could almost see the panic rise in Malfoy. "Damn it Blaise why do I even hang out with you, you bloody ogre." Malfoy continued muttering profanities at Blaise, throwing green apples around him sometimes even hitting him. This is pretty bloody funny but I need to get to class. I sighed 'Okay Malfoy it's time to get down now' I practically sighed out. Malfoy finally turned to face me. "How do you suppose I do that Potter if you haven't noticed I am stuck. In a tree. With a sleeping ogre and the chosen one watching me, also do I look like I can just hop down?" The level of sarcasm he has is astonishing, even to me. 'Malfoy just hop' I rolled my eyes standing right in front of him with my arms out. "Potter if you are insisting that you catch me you are highly mistaken I would never stoop so low" Malfoy exclaimed folding his arms and turning away pouting almost like a a child when they didn't get their way. "I mean you can stay here, and deal with detention with Snape I mean class is in like 2 minutes and it's obvious your his favorite so maybe he'll let you off easy...then again maybe not' that seemed to snap him out of his child-like trance. Malfoy looked almost comical his eyes so wide, utterly terrified. I let out a chuckle before striding away with a smirk. Of course I wasn't going to leave him there, I know better than anyone that Snape's detentions are the worst thing about Hogwarts but I just wanted the satisfaction of having Malfoy asking me to help him. I took two steps before "Wait!" I turned around to face him making my face neutral 'Yes Malfoy?'. The blonde boy suddenly looked very shy his eyes looking anywhere other than Harry's eyes. "Can you...maybe...possibly...help me get down from this tree?" Malfoy asked in a small voice. 'I mean I could but, tch class is so soon I don't know I think you might have to say one more word.' The word I was referring to was 'please' he knew but I just wanted him to say it. I stepped closer now directly below Malfoy. Malfoy pouted even more. I couldn't help but smirk. "Please help me get down from this tree" 'There's the Malfoy manors! I knew you had it in you!" I chuckled out. 'Yeah yeah now help me down Potter' he exclaimed rolling his eyes. Alright take two, I held out my arms again waiting for Malfoy to get over his pride and jump into my arms. Now that I think about this it is oddly intimate, but I mean whatever gotta live my life I guess. 'Alright Malfoy jump I don't have all day ya know' I saw him hesitate before bracing himself to jump closing his eyes tight and slowly pushing off. Malfoy was extremely light and short so I won't have a problem catching him. Malfoy jumped right into my arms. He smells like apples wow that's cliche. I set him down quickly not wanting to make the situation more awkward. "Thank you" Malfoy said in a small voice. I couldn't help but smile, I still can't believe that Draco bloody Malfoy and I got stuck in this situation. 'Yeah it's fine Malfoy just try not to get stuck in anymore trees' I laughed he hit me playfully still not looking in my eyes. 'Alright let's get to class we have bout fifty seconds' Malfoy turned around to look at Blaise who was still sleeping like a dead man "Should I wake him up" 'Nah' Malfoy looked at me in pure joy laughing loudly. I couldn't help but crack a smile. We ran to potions but we still got stuck in after school detention. But hey at least we'll be together I guess.
