I instantly bit my lower lip and glanced at the man who was in front of me eating a chicken drumstick. I cleared my throat.
"Yes, what do you want?" I hissed at her.
Narinig ko ang mahinang pagtawa ni Dawn sa kabilang linya.
[Masyadong ma-effort ha? Araw-araw ka yatang nilalabas?] I immediately blushed because of her statement. Napatingin naman sa akin si Zacharias at ngumiti. Shuta!
I shifted my gaze away from him. "Bye. I'll call you later okay?" And then I hung up.
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. He's now starting to court me. Sinabi ko naman sa kaniya na huwag muna but he's persistent. I don't know why but I can't say no either. Naguguluhan ako.
"Busog ka na?" He asked.
Tumango ako sa kaniya. " Yeah. Just eat well."
Nandito kami ngayong dalawa sa SM at nasa loob ng Jollibee. He wants to eat here kahit sinabi ko naman na magtake out nalang kami. Sabi niya gusto niya mag amoy jollibee din. I laughed at him when he said that.
After we finished eating, he held my hand to bring me closer to him. He suddenly kissed my forehead. I shyly looked around the mall and saw people looking at us.
Jusko! PDA!
"Zacharias, madaming tao." Nahihiyang bulong ko sa kaniya.
He just looked at me and winked. "So gusto mo yung tayo lang dalawa?" Hinampas ko lang siya sa balikat at pinanood na tinatawanan ako.
These days, we've been so inseparable. Even when he's busy, he always calls and drives me home. Unti-unti na akong nasasanay na lagi siyang andyan kaya minsan natatakot ako na baka dumating yung panahon na iiwan niya ako, baka hindi ko kayanin.
We aren't together but I get a feeling there is something special between us. Being the coward that I am, I believe it is not yet time.
"This fits perfectly for you." He said this while holding a gray dress. It's a fitted string dress, rather than a flowy one. It's also backless. We were in a store looking for a dress for me to wear to the company's annual event, which he had invited me to. At first, I was hesitant, but I soon agreed.
"Ha? Talaga?" Hindi kumbinsidong sabi ko sa kaniya.
He smiled at me and picked up the dress. "Try it." I just rolled my eyes and sinunod nalang siya. Agad akong naglakad papunta sa fitting room and changed into that dress.
Napangiti ako ng makitang bagay na bagay ito sa akin and it compliments well with my skin. I turned around and I was shocked to see that the back is too revealing.
I walked out of the fitting room and I saw some people looking at me. Agad na hinanap ng mga mata ko si Zacharias pero agad na napakunot ang noo ko ng makitang meron siyang kausap.
I walked towards them and I saw how this annoying woman touched Zach's arms while laughing. It irritates the hell out of me.
"Zacharias." Madiing tawag ko sa kaniya with no emotions plastered on my face.
Napatingin naman siya agad sa akin at nanlaki ang mata habang nakatitig. He immediately walked towards me and roamed his eyes on the dress.
"You look so beautiful, Summer." Then he encircled his hands on my waist. I secretly smiled when I saw how the woman's eyes went down on my waist. Napatitig siya sa kamay ni Zacharias na nasa bewang ko. I immediately reached his hand that is on my waist and squeezed it.
