They lead the Queen safely to the bunker.
"Take care milady. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go defend our home" Melian bowed a little, then went back to help Anakin.
Rex and Melian were on their way back to where Anakin and the 501st are. They came back to a tense battle. Droids were everywhere, but at least there were a lot of places where you could take cover.
Just as they finish one battalion, another one appears. These blasts are really loud, especially when I block them- she was in her thoughts
"Melian, where are you! Stay focused!" Anakin's yell has gotten her out of her thoughts.
"Sorry master! Something got my attention!"
This fight got Melian tired pretty quickly. She didn't know if it was because of the wound but at one point it took so much energy from her to just stand.
"Rex! Can you please help me find Kix? The wound is getting worse!"
"Of course, but I am not sure will he be able to treat it right away, there are a lot of hurt soldiers" Rex was explaining to Melian.
"Yes, I know! But maybe he can at least check it out" Melian told him. There were hurt soldiers all around the place. In this situation her wound is the last on the list. She heard someone behind her
"Did I hear someone looking for me?" it was Kix.
"You sure did! Anyways I think a shot brushed off of me, can you just check it out?"
"Of course, come here!" He led Melian behind the men, so he could see the wound better.
"At first glance it looks like the shot just brushed off of you, but you actually got shot" Melian wasn't really surprised by that.
"It didn't feel like I got shot. I know it's because of the adrenaline but I never actually experienced it before"
"A standard reaction, don't even worry about it. Here" he wrapped her wound and gave her some kind of pain killers.
"This should be enough for the battle. I would recommend you rest at least a bit, but knowing you jedi, you're gonna go straight back to the battle"
"And you're right again! Come on, we gotta go back!"
Kix and Melian returned to the battle. Her arm still hurt, but not as bad and she didn't get tired so soon. Rex was watching over her the whole time, so if she needs any help, he can help her. They got some air support and the battle was finally over. Now you could actually see Theed, and not just droids. Someone came from behind Melian and tapped her on the shoulder.
"You were very brave today." It was The Queen.
"Thank you milady, but all I did was defend my home. I'm sure anyone else would've done the same thing."
"I was really surprised that you're from Naboo"
"Yes, I am, though I don't know where my parents are from, but I grew up on this beautiful planet"
"I am really sorry about your parents, dear" she said with a sad look.
"Milady, You knew my parents?" Melian's eyes lit up. Maybe she can tell her something about them
"Oh, no, dear, I didn't know them personally, but it was all over the news" she took Melian's hand into hers.
"Oh... nevermind. Thank you, milady. I have to go now, hopefully we'll see eachother again" Melian bowed a little.
"Goodbye dear, take care" she also bowed, then turned around and left.
Melian didn't notice Rex standing behind her this whole time.
"Are you okay?" He asked Melian while putting his hands on her shoulders.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Though I would be better if she knew something about my parents" Melian looked down, defeated.
"You'll find something out. Come on" he said with a smile. As they were walking to the gunships, Melian turned around one more time, and whispered
"I'll find out who you were, I promise".
