Chapter 1: Poverty is harsh

"Hmm..."

Haruda hummed as he threw an edible wild berry that he found in the forest into his mouth.

"I need a place that's easy to defend and hard to attack"

He said before continuing his journey around the forest, trying to find a perfect spot to build the foundations of his base.

Since he is now weak compared to the other factions, he needed a place that he can easily defend so he decided to find a place surrounded by mountains in the back and the sides. So that he could focus on his defenses on the front of his base rather than spreading it on all sides since that would consume too much resources in the process.

He also needed to be close to the forest to obtain resources that he may need to construct more infrastructure for his base. If he couldn't fine a suitable place to build his base then he'll settle in a hidden location in the depths of the forest to avoid attracting the attention of the other faction while he builds up his strength.

He slowly manuevered through the forest as he avoided many large magical beast wandering around the forest. Climbing one tree to another to help him manuever in the dense forest.

"I need to find a suitable place before night time..."

He said as he climbed the tallest tree that he saw as he wandered in the forest to locate any nearby cave to temporarily use as shelter for the night.

"There's two medium-sized factions on the far west and east next to the forest... I guess that place is suitable to be used"

He said as he found a large empty field located far from the two medium-sized factions from both sides of the forest with a large lake located close to it.

He to immediately got down the tree while marking in his mind the direction of the space to avoid getting lost.

"I'll grab a few berries to eat for the day... I still can't any hunt beasts so this will do"

He said before taking off his shirt and using it as a bag to hold all of the berries that he picked from the bushes and trees.

After more than 15 hours of walking, he finally arrived at the large space that he found a while ago. Placing the bag of barries by his side before opening the window from before to start building his base.

"Construct the [Town Hall]"

He said causing a small building to drop down in front of him, alerting all of the animals within the vicinity due to the loud crash that it produced before they all ran away in different directions.

"... There goes my source of meat"

He said with a dejected smile on his face while observing the medium-sized infrastructure in front of him.

The roof was crooked with a small chimney above the slightly broken roof of the town hall. The walls were clumsily made of wood like the work of an unexperienced builder.

[The Apostle has been awarded with one builder's hut]

The notification said causing Haruda to immediately place the hut on the side of the mountain.

A small black hut suddenly appeared on the spot that he pointed before a single man with different tools hanging from his waist to come out of the hut.

"... They don't really look like the builders from the game... Well... I guess this make sense... I doubt they'll be able to build other facilities using only a hammer"

He muttered as he watched the builder slowly walk its way towards his direction.

"You're majesty! Builder at your service!"
