Chapter 9: Information

[The Apostle's first battle was an outstanding victory]

[Reward: 1 evolution point]

[Notice: The Apostle has enough evolution point to upgrade any unit by one tier]

"What?"

Haruda muttered with a slightly surprised expression on his face. He didn't expect that he'll get a reward from his first battle.

[Trial Period has ended]

[All buffs given to the Apostle's has been removed]

[May the Goddess of War, and the God of Creation be with you]

"... Figures"

Haruda said with a dissapointed expression on his face. Even though he did get a chance to upgrade any of his units. His chances of survival dramatically decreased just because his buffs dissapeared. Now, he will have no choice but to play more safely than before.

"Also... What's this tier thing?"

He muttered before opening the game window for his units. And much to his expectations, he did see a kind of tier next to the name of his units.

[Footmen: Tier I]

[Riflemen: Tier I]

"... That's it? There's no explanation?"

He said with a tinge of confusion hidden within his voice. No matter what he opened, he couldn't get any information about what that tier meant.

"... I'll deal with this later... I should deal with this idiot first"

He said. Turning his head towards the man in front of him with a serious expression on his face.

"Rise and Shine sleepyhead"

Haruda said as he slapped the man in front of him tied against the tree at full force, waking him up from his unconscious state before he quickly looked around his surroundings.

"W-Where-"

He said before his eyes landed on top of the red-haired teenager in front of him. Noticing the small line of soldiers standing behind the teenager with their weapons raised. Showing that they were ready to get respond if he does something that could endanger Haruda's life.

"You... Who are you? Where did you take me!?"

The captain shouted before recieving another slap on the face from Haruda who held an irritated expression on his face.

"Shut up, if your stupid shouting lure any beasts towards here. I'll leave you alone as bait for them while we escape"

He said before slapping him once again at his other cheek, causing Inuchiyo who was by his side to look at him in confusion.

"Why did you hit him again?"

"I just felt like it, it felt good slapping him across the face so I did it again"

He said while shrugging his shoulders causing the captain to vicious look at his direction as he prepared to curse him but was stopped by Goemon who pointed a dagger at his neck.

"If you, don't shut up, I'll cut off, your vocal cords, myself"

She said causing the man to gulp before remaining silent, looking around the soldiers behind Haruda with a cautious expression on his face.

"Who are you?"

"I'm doing the interrogation, not you"

He said before signalling for his men to bring a large rock behind him so that he could sit down while interrogating the man in front of him.
