Chapter 4: Rank C Summons

"Who should I pick?"

Haruda muttered while scrolling through the list of rank E-C anime characters since those are the only ones that is within the range that he could afford right now.

Right now he wanted to summon a character that could help them in their current predicament. He wanted to summon Momo since her quirk is especially useful for him and could help him create weapons for chemical warfare, since direct confrontations is impossible for them right now.

The camp 1000 km away from their base also worries him for a bit since that could indicate 2 things, one is that they are trying to expand their territory, or two, they are trying to prepare to attack the medium faction opposite their direction. Since from their armor and weaponry, it was impossible for them to become bandits.

He also thought that maybe, they were there to escort a noble, but he knew that no noble can be found within their camp, since most of the time, the noble's camp is located at the center of the entire base so that the soldiers could protect them when someone attacks them. Especially in an open space like them, where the enemies could attack them at all sides.

So he could only conclude that they are preparing to seige a territory close to the forest. His main goal as of now is to improve the defenses of the base, and force them to go back to their faction, by regularly stealing their supplies.

"I need a scout... A ninja would have been nice, but... they're really expensive"

He said while looking at list of ninja's in naruto, the only character that he could buy is either Tenten or Ino, which are both useless to him as of now.

The [Store] didn't provide him any of characters with some of the minor or background characters that he took interest in, but he found out that as long as one anime characters can appear in the [Store] if they appeared at least once in an animated video that came from japan. That is the reason why he could find [Vincent Van Gogh], and [Okita Souji] in the shop since both of them appeared in a trailer of the game.

The only confusing part is that some of the major character from different anime are missing from the shop like Midoriya or Bakugou so he couldn't understand the criteria that is needed for them to be included in the store.

"... A scout, huh?"

He said while scrolling down the list of characters, listing down everything the characters that he took interest to or fulfill his criterias, leaving him with only 3 candidates.

"... Akame is out since she is too expensive... Toga is more on deception rather than stealth so she's out. So that only leaves us with Goemon"

He muttered while scratching his chin in contemplation.

Goemon was a character that he took interest in the anime [Oda Nobunaga] since despite being a little girl... Or a girl of unknown age with a little girl's body. She was extremely skilled in gathering information and assassination missions, the only problem is that she is just a normal human. Without any power nor abilities. She only has mastered dozens of weapons, and is considered an extremely talented ninja in the anime.

"I guess she's the best candidate that I have as of now"

He said before proceeding to buy her character, causing her name to dissapear from the list as a giant gate suddenly appeared in front of him.

Slowly the gate opened as bright light blinded all of them as a single little girl came out of the gate while the light slowly dissapeared.
