-----------------------------------------------------------

Just another normal and quite boring day of your new daily routine. After you were kidnapped by a fellow scientist's experimentation, he confessed that he deeply admires you from the moment the two of you had met. That's why he kidnapped you since he was afraid that you'll leave him again or that you'll get hurt and he won't be there to protect you. Escaping really wasn't going to be an option at this point since he could easily catch you and get you back again, and running wild through a forest you're unknown with creatures that must be dangerous once you'll face them seems like a bad idea.

So now, here you were, cooped up inside an abandoned cabin deep within the woods as you were also quite surprised and amazed as to how he had managed to find such still liveable structure in the forest of a certain location, which you don't where it is, many islands away from your former facility. From the homey atmosphere the building emits, you started to get comfortable in living in it and being with him made it quite easy seeing as he does almost everything for you.

But it really doesn't stop you from getting bored. After some time, which you were unsure how many days or even weeks had already passed, you had already done everything you could think of doing that is okay for him. You already read all of the books that you had magically found in a mini library ranging from different genres and topics, sometimes clean the house with him and helping him in doing the household chores if he lets you and exploring the outside rarely, just within the fence around the cabin.

"Can I explore a little bit further away from the fence?" You asked, glancing at the man beside you also seated on the same couch who's busy reading a book that you had suggested for him to read.

His lackluster eyes took a glimpse towards your direction as he uttered a simple word, flipping the page of his book afterwards as he returns his gaze towards the certain section of the paper. "No."

"Please? You'll be there to guide me and accompany me." You further requested, your palms glued to each other as you try to make him say yes with a pair of puppy eyes that you could muster.

He glances back again at you and refrain himself from giving in, wanting to know how long you could keep up with his stubbornness. He softly let out an exhale, closing his book with one of his floating tentacles after memorizing where he had stopped and puts it on top of the wooden table in front of him.

He crosses his arms across his chest and faces you with a small smile. "Why do you want to go outside anyway?"

You clear your throat before going to the other end of the table where you easily glided along the floor and stood up with a confident posture as you feel that he'll finally give in before you start to speak while playfully narrowing your eyes at him. "Unlike someone, I've always been locked up here inside, even though there's no threat seeing as there's no one near this place. Besides, I have nothing to do with here and boredom always knocks me out."

You dramatically sighed in defeat, playing with some of his tentacles by gently poking and avoiding getting hit by them before he finally stands up while he raised an index finger, giving you a close eyed smile as he very much enjoys the attention you're giving him. "Fine... But on one condition."

You grin in delight and couldn't help but ask in excitement. "What is it?"

"Cuddle." He answered, staring intently for your reaction and couldn't help but slightly chuckle in amusement.

Not that you're complaining, just plain confused. The two of you sometimes cuddle with each other and that's why it may have become a normal thing.

You thought that he would request for something quite rare from you, but it seems like you're proved wrong. "Cuddle? Just plain cuddling?"

"Yes. You don't want it?" He looks at you with a small hint of concern in his eyes that seem to grow dull as worry is also laced with his voice with a pint of something else as his tentacles start to move away from you and closer to him, wiggling with lesser enthusiasm.

"No! I mean, I'm fine with it!" You frantically flail your arms around in slight panic, afraid that he might change his mind.

He visibly sighs in relief and relishes the look painted across your features. "Based on your facial expressions and physical reactions, I could only guess that you're very excited for your mini exploration."

"Why wouldn't I be? Thank you for granting my request! When are we going out?" You beamed a bright smile to him that reflects the gratitude and happiness that you're currently feeling.

He answers your inquiry. "Before sunset since there's a place that I want to show you for it may bring happiness to you."

Just after he informed you of his small surprise, you rushed to your shared room and start to prepare for later as it's already close for the sun to finally set and retire for governing the day. The two of you head outside with you delighting yourself with the soft breeze and magnificent nature surrounding the two of you after you passed through the gate and is finally a few distance away from the fence.

Before reaching to his designated spot, a river with crystalline water that reflected the slightly orange rays of the sun greeted your view along with some line of trees and different bushes of flowers. You also saw a small cave one time behind the rows of floras. With his hand holding one of your own securely, the two of you continue on towards a clear grassy field.

But with further inspection, you noticed the other different colored flowers scattered across the middle of the field and while you stare at the view in awe, you can't help exclaiming. "Such beautiful flowers!"

"Not as beautiful as you, though." He softly places a strand of your hair behind your ear by a tentacle when the wind blew it towards your face as the sunbeams gently kissed your face with the right amount of light that made you look more amazing to him.

He was glad that he could still make you happy and that you seem to finally start to accept the truth, that you're meant to be with him. As night started to loom over the sky, the two of you are already home and just finished eating dinner that he had deliciously cooked for the two of you. You're currently absent-mindedly twirling a strand of your hair and seem to be deep in thought as he observes you carefully. He decided to join you as he sat on the bed and the new weight on the mattress and the motion of it made you look at him.

"Cuddle?" He spread his arms as an invitation for you.

"Cuddle." You laid down beside as he starts to cuddle up with you as some of his tentacles gently stroking your cheek and poking your nose occasionally that made you slightly giggle.

Noticing your eyes getting droopy, he hums a soft tune as you start to fall asleep in his arms. "Good night, sweet dreams. Love you..."

"Love you, too..." May it be due to drowsiness brought by you being sleepy that you unconsciously said that or it's really genuine didn't worry him much as by hearing you say those words is just the important thing for him.

With a kiss on your forehead, he follows after you soon after as sleep knocked on his own consciousness. His arms wrapped around you securely that give warmth and comfort to your being.
