I ate dinner in silence with Y/N and All Might. Bakugo had gotten into my head now and I was extremely cautious.

"How's the League operation going?" She asked. He looked a little nervous at answering; three days ago and he would have answered with no hesitation.

"Nothing new at the moment." He mumbled.

"Oh. Shame." She was a little annoyed. Every time she'd ask a question such as this, she'd get no answer and become fed up.

"I'm heading to bed. Goodnight." All Might finished up and headed off. As soon as he was gone, she pulled me in for a kiss by my scarf. I moved away a little too quickly. It was just... too cold.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I'm not feeling well. Sorry." I got up and left with extreme haste.

Tomorrow, I'd find out for certain if it were her. This wasn't the right setting to do it.

However, if it was truly her, I would get in deep trouble.

Either way, I suppose.

----

I woke up too fucking early. The sun had just risen clearly, and my back was aching from another night of sleeping on concrete. My arm was starting to ache like a bitch. All I could do was continue to change the dressing and disinfect it, but it was still super fucked up, with a huge painful gash that kept reopening.

Wandering around my old neighbourhood was a little bittersweet; it held many memories, yet not many good ones.

"Oh my God... Y/N?" A jogger said to me, staring in astonishment. She took out her headphones.

"...Sarah?" I recognised her almost immediately, despite it being so many years. She smiled kindly, her long, sleek black hair in a ponytail.

"It's been so long... how've you been?" She asked, sitting down on the wall, with me following.

"I've... been better. What about you?" I returned the dreaded small talk.

"Good. Hey... uh, I'm sorry I didn't stop those kids when we were younger. I'm still torn up about it, then you just disappeared all of a sudden... I can't imagine how you felt." She hung her head in shame.

Now, Sarah was one of two that didn't torment me every day. She was more of a bystander. But in her defence, we were like 7-11 years old. However, I'd much prefer she was someone who did nothing rather than hurt me.

"Look. We were kids. It's alright, man. Don't worry about it." I nudged her with my elbow.

"If you say so... but where'd you go?" She wanted to know. I shifted on the wall a bit, the roughness of it on my fingertips.

"Well, I moved schools when I was 10. Down South a little, actually. Then when I was 14, we moved to Japan." She looked surprised at this.

"J-Japan?! When'd you move home, seeing as you're here?" I rubbed the back of my neck and laughed nervously.

"You see... that's the thing. I still live in Japan. Have done for 6 years now. I'm not here by choice." I then went on to explain my story to her; training to become a hero, the League, getting dumped here, and looking for an old classmate.

"That's crazy... but I can't say I'm surprised that you're becoming a hero."

"Even though I'm quirkless?" I smiled.

"Knowing you, I'm guessing that motivated you more, huh?" I nodded, kicking my feet against the wall.

"Right. About him, and getting back home, I might be able to help you." She smiled mischievously; she had something in mind.
