I still felt the strong tingle throughout my being, as I stood up and looked around.
"The fuck...?" The house was about 50 yards from us, surrounded by police.
"I went back to where I was... over 72 hours ago? With no pain?" I mumbled to myself in confusion. The most I ever managed was 12 seconds... What the hell happened?
And that's when it hit me.
The only reason I couldn't go further before, was the fact that my body wouldn't allow me due to the pain. I turned to Eri, who was equally as shocked.
"... You're constantly rewinding my body so I can't feel it." I smirked, impressed with her.
"Your power's a blessing, you know?" I praised the girl- God knows she needed some for once.
"Okay, let's go see those officers-" I was interrupted by Chisaki literally bursting through the ground. A weird, creature-like gargantuan Chisaki with 20 arms and 20m tall. Cool.
I sucked my teeth, staring at the thing before me.
"...Okay."
He threw a punch at the ground, which I narrowly missed.
Eri and myself leapt around the road- her clinging onto my back, lending me her power. It was a hard-fought battle, with images of a now quirkless Mirio, Eri, Aizawa, and everyone I loved in my mind.
I landed one final blow- looping it every fraction of a second, keeping him in constant pain until he was rendered unconscious. By the time I came back down to the ground, the heroes who could still fight were there.
"We did it, Er-" All of a sudden- severe pain shot through me. I fell to the ground, screaming in agony. The glow around us intensified- she was losing control. And only one man could stop it, or I would surely die. Lifting my head very slowly...
He was nowhere to be seen.
"AIZAWA!!"
And everything went black.
----
I gasped, clutching my chest. Eri was sleeping soundly on my back- she'd passed out. I held her bridal-style, surveying the scene.
"...Huh. My favourite place." The roof of U.A. was beneath my feet. And to my left, was a very confused boy sitting on a bench, trying to eat his lunch.
"Uh... Hi?" I smiled nervously. The boy dropped his food in shock.
"Where the heck did you come from?!" He yelled, practically shooting out of his seat.
"Calm down, dude." I ran my hand through my hair, and sat down beside him.
"Hey... What's the time?" I asked the poor kid.
"Lunchtime! 12:30." He grinned, now returning to his food.
"... So no questions about the random lady that appeared out of thin air, huh?"
"OH!" He suddenly remembered.
"Who are you then?" He asked, tucking back in once again. He seemed laidback.
"I'm a first-year student here. I know, I look older. I'm 20. Repeated middle school and some other bullshit. What's your name? I haven't seen you here before." He raised his eyebrows, smiling with his mouth full.
"The name's Shirakumo Oboro!"
The breath in my chest refused to come out. Keeping my best poker face, I experienced a wild range of emotions. Sadness, guilt, shock, and fear.
