Episode 5 - (May Sweeps/Part 1)

The Intruder

Making his way to the building of the Intruder, the gossip site that Emily owned, Andy wondered what Emily wanted from him. When he got an e-mail from her the other day of her wanting to see the man, she didn't lay out why but just told Andy it's important and urgent. It was confusing to Andy at first, but then he thought maybe Emily wanted to talk to her about doing a story for Hope's rape. If that's what she wanted then Emily could take that idea and shove it, showing that all Emily wanted was exposure and to make his daughter uncomfortable. Andy didn't think Emily at first would do anything like that, but this is the same Emily that slept with Tom behind Margo's back after she told Margo about Diego raping her. How could she live with something like that? Daniel was the innocent one out of all of them when he came into the world but that really showed how cruel Emily was. Coming inside, Andy checked in with security who told him to take the elevator and go to the last floor which is where Emily's office is which Andy just did. Sitting down in a chair after he also checked in with the receptionist, Andy waited before taking out his messages on the phone to see what he messed before hearing Emily's voice.

Emily - "Andy?

Andy looked up and saw Emily outside the door, motioning him to come in. Andy stood up before he walked up to the office before she moved out of the way. Andy takes a seat before Emily closes the door behind her, then goes to her desk to sit on the edge of it

Emily - "Thank you for coming Andy. I am glad you got my message but there's a part of me who thought you weren't coming"

Andy - "Well at first I didn't know what to believe, maybe you wanted me here for some kind of story or there's a dumb excuse m"

Emily - "About what?"

Andy - "Hope and her rape, that you would put it out in front street and treat it like crap"

Emily - "Andy, of course I wouldn't do that to Hope, she's your daughter. Something like rape is very sensitive, I have been through that experience MYSELF Andy, remember?"

Andy, who felt like a complete idiot for what he said to her before, remembered hearing about her rape back then so at least she was being serious.

Andy - "Of course you were, look, I apologize for being harsh to you Emily. But if this isn't about Hope, then what's it about?"

Emily - "These..."

Emily takes the big envelope off of her desk and give them to Andy. Looking at Emily and then at the envelope, he opens it up before taking out the pictures of him and Mindy which left him shocked.

Andy - "What the hell...how did you get these?"

Emily - "Someone sent them to me the other day before I e-mailed you. She wanted me to do a story on you having sex with the woman in those pictures"

Andy - "Who?"

Emily - "Some lady named Sonita Paulson? Her name is on the address"

Andy looks at the named and the address at the upper left corner which made him start to boil in anger. He really couldn't believe she sent those to Emily Stewart of all people who owns the Intruder by the way. This couldn't be happening and now Emily knows what's going on...well kind of.

Andy - "This bitch..."

Andy threw the photos and the envelope down before standing up and walking over to the windows looking out into the city. Just when he thought he was getting Sonni off of her back, she does something like this to probably warn Andy that she hasn't forgotten about him or Mindy. The past couple of months Mindy and Andy have slept together after they were blackmailed by Sonni. For what reason? You'll have to ask Andy but Emily could feel something or someone's after Andy for some kind of reason. In the past Emily has had her back against the wall, being blackmailed and threatened by others unless he or she was going to put her out on front street. Emily even at times has been the town pariah for causing trouble in Tom's marriage to Margo, and if you ask Emily, she deserved all of the flack. Deep down she knew Tom didn't want her but Emily just wanted to feel loved and respected. Maybe Andy was going through the same process, maybe this woman who he slept with is married and they don't know how to end it. She didn't know all of the details, but maybe Emily could help Andy in anyway she could, but how? As for Andy, he ran his hand through his hair, frustrated and shaking his own head and wondering how he can get himself out of this mess with Mindy.
