Episode 23

Oakdale PD

Jack Snyder parked his car and immediately entered the OPD after his lunch break was over. He got a call from Margo explaining what happened so Jack made his way to the station after he left one of the cafes when Jack finished up. When he got there, he saw Margo standing in front of the interrogation room where the man can see Jack Bradford questioning Maggie with Tom as her lawyer.

Jack – "Margo, what's going on now? Is Meg, okay?"

Margo – "She's talking to Bradford now with Tom serving as her attorney. I can't believe it myself"

Jack – "How is this happening? Did she try to kill Eliza? Be honest Margo"

Margo – "It's not looking good right now Jack. Parker and Bradford found a prescription bottle in her purse and somehow it got into her food"

Jack – "But that doesn't mean she wanted Eliza dead or worse right? Margo, she's not a killer, she's a good person and a good mother"

Margo – "I know Jack, but right now she is the only we may have as a possible suspect. If it was anyone else then this would be a slam dunk, but the case is still under investigation"

Jack – *Watches Meg and the others in the interrogation room* "Let's hope she doesn't go down for this.... Eliza needs her"

Homeless Shelter

Francine was telling Carly everything about her family's history and most it was devastating. Carly sat next to her after she got up from the chair and put her arm around Francine after hearing everything. Francine was so emotional from telling her story about the family she didn't have but the one she ended up having in the end.

Carly – "I never knew that Francine. When did you find out on your own?"

Francine – "After everything started crashing down on me, losing the bar, my man, I just couldn't recover. I needed my family Carly, my real family, where were they for me!?"

Carly – "Shhh...it's okay Francine, I promise you that I am going to look for them. Then once that's over I will bring them here to Oakdale"

Francine – "No Carly, they don't deserve to see me after all I have been through in my life"

Carly – "They're your family Francine"

Francine – "Adopted you mean?"

Carly – "It doesn't matter at all, blood or no blood, they are family Francine, and you need them. They need to know about the woman you are, that you need help in the end, love and support is all you need. So let me help find them, then bring them here"

Francine – "Oh.... oh, okay Carly.... thanks, by the way"

Carly - *Smiles* "Anytime Francine...anytime"

Memorial Hospital

Sitting in his daughter's hospital room, Paul held on to her hand and watched while Eliza was in a coma after the ordeal she just went through. Paul couldn't even take in the thought of Meg trying to kill their daughter. It didn't make sense to him or anyone else at all, as Emily walks into the room and approached Paul before placing his hand on Paul's shoulder.

Emily – "Hey you, I called your mom and Henry. They're on the way, how are you holding up?"

Paul – "Pissed off, angry, and just wrapping my head around everything. Meg...."

Emily – "I can't believe Meg would do something like this....and to her own daughter?"

Paul – "Wait, so you're going to throw Meg under the bus?"

Emily – "Paul, I didn't mean it like that, you have to understand that anything is possible. If Meg did this to Eliza- "

Paul – "She did NOT do this! I know it and you know it; Meg would never hurt this precious daughter that we created together, just to destroy it!"

Emily – "Well what if- "

Paul – "What if nothing, Emily! I don't want to hear it, now if you excuse me, I need to go to the chapel and pray for my daughter. Stay here with Eliza, if she wakes up call me.... I am sure she needs some company in the name of family"

Paul stands up and leaves the room while Emily watches him go. She didn't mean to cause any trouble but that big mouth of hers blew things out of proportion. Then again it could be that a part of her wanted to plant seeds of doubt in Paul's head, Meg couldn't be trusted, not even around the children that she created with her husband at all.
