Completing her paperwork, Katie took out her cell phone and text Simon to see if he was coming or not. She wanted to see him at KWOK TV station since Katie was working their for the day and since her scheduled was all done for the day, now is time for Simon to learn the truth about the child that was growing in her stomach as he could be the father. It wasn't her intention of dropping this bomb on him all the sudden since he is back in town but he had to know. Kaite hasn't told Chris still and she didn't have the strength to tell him to his face because she knew the man would get heartbroken. Hearing her cell phone alert her of a text from Simon. It said he was dropping Ryan, Vicky, Jake and Molly at the Lakeview Hotel where they would be staying for the time being. So Katie told him to come by to the station since she was free, but as the blonde start to stand up from her seat she walks up to the window looking over the town of Oakdale. Kaite wasn't going to break Simon's heart by telling him she wanted an abortion if the baby is his, no way at all. That would be cruel to him especially for Chris who was so elated , so happy that they were having a child but she heard the phone ring before picking it up.

Katie - "Yes? He's here? Send him in please...thank you"

Katie ends the call before he immediately heard the door open, and there was Simon who smiled seeing his ex-wife.

Simon - "Hello again Katie, you wanted to see me?"

Katie - "Thank god you're here Simon"

She immediately walked up and hugged Simon like it was the end of the world. He was completely caught off guard from that hug before she closes the door behind him, then started to wonder if she was in trouble from someone like Donovan again.

Katie - "Come in and have a seat, we need to talk"

Simon - "What did you get yourself into now Katie? Have you changed or something from the last time we saw each other?"

Katie - "This is no joke Simon, this is serious, so just have a seat"

Simon shrugged his shoulders before he sat down in the chair that was across from her desk. From the look on her face, Simon saw how worried she was but about what? Did something else happen while he was gone from Oakdale.

Simon - "What's this all about Katie? You texted me and it looked important"

Katie - "It is Simon, you remember the night of what happened between us in that room? The one where Donovan locked us in before he unleashed that gas on us?"

Simon - "Yeah, after that we woke up in the hospital after Mago, Jack, and Chris found us at the house"

Katie - "We slept together too Simon, remember? When the gas surrounded us?"

Simon - "Wait a minute...Katie...are you trying to say?"

Katie - "Yes Simon, I am pregnant and the child may be yours"

Simon was perplexed as this came out of nowhere for him to hear those words from Katie. The blonde opened up her jacket before showing her pregnant belly showing it to Simon when she stood up from the desk. Simon's jaw dropped immediately before he was pregnant and possibly having his child? When did Katie find out about this and not tell the aussie until now? Now she picks the right time to tell him when he comes back to Oakdale. Heck, he was planning to stay over the night at the Lakeview Hotel before leaving the next day to go back home to Australia. Now though, he may have to stay long term just a little bit more because of this news. How was this possible though? Simon did remember sleeping with Katie when the two of them were not in the right frame of mind. It was never his intention of hurting Chris or Jacob either when he was in town after they all came back home from the vacation from hell. It's not his intention now of destroying their lives with this big of a secret. If this was his child then fine, Simon would step up to the plate and be there for Katie. What about Chris? How would he react? Did she even tell her husband about all of this yet? If so Chris would be here and knocking Simon out on his ass.
