The boys ended up driving all night. When Sam had fallen asleep, Dean had explained everything. Rebecca was shocked and confused at first, but they soon came to terms with it and believed him. Not long after that conversation, Rebecca fell asleep. By the time Rebecca woke up, they were somewhere they didn't recognize.

"Where are we..?" Rebecca asked as they stretched a bit.

"Colorado." Dean responded.

"What the hell are we doing in Colorado?" Rebecca responded, their eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Our dad left some coordinates that led us here." Dean's brother, Sam, responded.

"I apologize, but your father sounds very frustrating." Rebecca said, shaking their head to themself.

"He is." Sam agreed.

"Glad we can agree on that."

"Look at you two being all buddy buddy already." Dean said, trying to bite back a smile as he watched two of his favourite people converse.

"I am a very agreeable person, Dean." Rebecca joked.

Dean let out a small chuckle and shook his head. Soon they pulled up at the local police station. All three got out of the Impala. Dean quickly handed Sam and Rebecca fake police / trooper badges.

"When the hell did you make this?" Rebecca asked, raising an eyebrow as they looked up at Dean.

Dean shrugged a bit. "I had some free time last night."

Rebecca shook their head and slipped the badge into their back pocket.

When they went in, Rebecca kinda just spaced out while examining their surroundings. After a few minutes, they felt Dean place his hand on their lower back. They looked up at him and he nodded towards the door, signalling they were leaving. They exited the trooper station and got in the car again.

"So uh- where are we going again?" Rebecca asked.

"You weren't paying attention at all?" Dean asked, glancing into the backseat to give the girl a slight glare.

"Uh- no not really." They responded, shaking their head a bit.

"We're going to go help this girl, Haley Collins, find her brother who went missing in the woods a couple weeks ago." Sam explained.

"Ah, gotcha. Thank you Sammy." Rebecca said, leaning back in their seat a bit.

The rest of the car ride was filled with Dean's music and the wind rushing past the open windows. As they were speaking to the girl, Rebecca saw Dean slightly checking out the girl named Haley. They couldn't help but feel a bit jealous of that. However, instead of focusing on their jealousy, they decided to focus their energy on trying to piece together what creature they were hunting. On the way to get a motel room, Rebecca was looking at the journal, trying to at least get a slight idea of what they would be up against. They had been reading the entire thing front to back when they noticed a few entrees about a creature called a wendigo.

"We said this thing is fast, right?" Rebecca asked, not looking up from the book.

Sam and Dean looked at the girl before looking at each other.

"Uh- yeah, why?" Sam asked.

"Well, I think it might be a wendigo. Says here they're fast and likes to kidnap humans." Rebecca explained.

"That's not a bad idea. Good job Becs." Dean said, flashing the girl a quick smile.

The rest of the night was unimportant, they just got a motel room, some food and went to sleep. However the next morning, by the time Rebecca had woken up, Sam and Dean were gone. Rebecca was unsure on whether to be angry, confused or terrified. They quickly picked up their phone and found they had a voicemail.

"Hey, I know you won't get this until you wake up, but Sam and I decided to go on this one on our own, since you haven't had any hunting training. I don't like the thought of leaving you alone, but there's a shotgun, holy water, some salt and silver. I promise we'll come back and get you when we're done, okay?.. Alright bye." Dean's voice rang out. The faint rock and wind in the background told Rebecca he was in the impala when he recorded the voicemail.

Rebecca sighed and deleted it before plopping onto his bed. They couldn't help but feel a bit useless. I mean, all they could do right now was sit around and watch tv. They nuzzled their face into a pillow. There was a faint scent of Dean, one they had only really gotten a whiff of when they hugged Dean. If Rebecca had to be honest, it smelt like a mix of cheap cologne and alcohol. But there was something so comforting about the smell. They let go of the pillow to turn on the tv and watch random channels while cuddling up to the pillow. They probably looked a bit weird with the insane clutch they had on the pillow, but quite frankly they didn't care. I mean, no one would be spying on them to see them being weird. They felt anxious the entire time the two were gone. They couldn't help but be anxious the entire time. The thought that Sam and Dean could get really hurt made them worried. But they tried to push those thoughts to the back of their head.
