Thru YouTube. I was searching for Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby's film (where he was a US consul) on YT when I chanced up Diary ng Panget trailer. Then, somebody mentioned, "Wattpad story lang ito noon, ngayon movie na." That got me curious about Wattpad. So I searched for it and the rest is history.

That there is no perfect character and that each character reacts/feels according to how they are characterized. I cannot simply make them become someone else in just a snap of a finger. For example, a gentle and kind person becoming "mataray" all of a sudden without any explanation about the change in personality.
Many of my plots are inspired by my own experience or those of people I know but with a twist to make them interesting. :)

They should write what they want to write and not go with the trend because if what is trending is not something they want to write, it really shows. Readers can sense it right away and may not support the story. It feels demotivating when a story flops. Some writers quit because of it.
Another thing, they should interact with their readers if they can because readers love authors who are not arrogant.
