"It was Jesse Ricks, another petty officer who was turned down the opportunity of being promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer. DJ was then promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer. She says that DJ kept getting threats from Jesse. Today, you're going undercover with Nick as husband and wife," Jethro said. I stood up.
"Okay, let's go," I say. We both walk down to the bullpen. Jethro tells Nick what the plan is. I could hear him say, "If you let her get hurt, I will kill you," Jethro turned around to me and smiled. "You guys should get going," he says and both Nick and I head out.
