Ding. Ding. Ding. I looked over and saw my timer was going off. I turned it off and got out of the car. I walked into the bar and looked around. I spotted Ells right away in the corner with the other man.
They were kissing. Even though I knew it wasn't real, a spark of jealousy came over me. I quickly shook the thought out of my head. "Claire! Claire!," I call out, looking the other way.
Ells got up and said a few things to Jesse and walked over to me. "Sorry, honey. I was just visiting a friend," She said, smiling and hooking her arm around mine. "That's fine. We've got to go," I say and we walked out.
