I walk into the bar feeling a little confident. I've never been on a hands-on mission before. But I do have an advantage other agents don't have. That's because I was trained by the best NCIS team leader there ever was; my father, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. I was trained very well, too.
Jesse takes my hand and leads me to his truck. He drives us to the "work event" he'd been talking about. The drive was relatively quiet except for the small chit-chat we made. It was a little long, too. Once we got there, he opened my door for me; earning him a thank you.
