It had been about an hour later Ranboo and iris where still in her room Macy had left the room to go eat something. Ranboo had his head rested on Irises chest while she played with his hair as they watched coraline (I will give context for that in the AN ) when Iris got the courage to ask Ranboo a question she had been dying to know
"Hey Ranboo?" Iris askes gently not even knowing if Ranboo was even awake he moved around so his chin was now resting on her chest and now looking at her
"Mhm?"
"What are we?" She asked, Iris genuinely wanted to know this she didnt know if they were together she didnt know if he knew he accidently told her he liked her. Ranboo sat up he put his head against her head board he sighed and shrugged
"I don't know Iris I know that what we are is way more than platonic, and I know..." He paused he was hesitating and she could tell "I know that i like you more than a friend Iris and I know that some time soon im going to ask you to be my girlfriend, But not today because today is your birthday and that would make me really shitty." He told her honestly Iris grabed his hands and made him hug her
"I dont deserve you." Iris said qiutely she thought he couldnt heat her but he did
"If anything its the other way around Iris." He told her, after that neither of them talked corline played in the back as as they continued to hug eachother

It had been around an hour Iris and Ranboo were now down stairs again, with Sapnap and Lucas while Macy dream and there mom went to the store
"Sap you know i hate you sometimes?" She tells him
"Yeah I know," he says with a laugh iris scoots closer to Ranboo on the couch and puts her head on his lap he started playing with her hair "just date already." Sapnap said
"No." Iris said plainly
"You guys obviously like eachother." Sapnap said pointing out the obvious
Iris looked up at ranboo "wow Ranboo you like me... I didnt know." She said with sarcasm she looked back at sapnap with a smirk
"So you are dateing?" Sapnap asked them the both shook there heads no "so you both like eachother?"
"Yep." Ranboo answered
"But you are not dateing each other?" Sapnap asked again
"Nope." Iris told him
Sapnap sat in confusion "so why arent you guys dateing?" Both of them really didnt have answer to the question yeah they both obviously liked each other but both of them were scared that once they start dating there friendship will change

"You know I leave in two days." Ranboo warned her, still in the same position while talking to sapnap Iris sighed she didnt want to say good bye to him she didnt want to go back to falling asleep on face time because she like falling asleep with ranboo and on in difrent states, Iris got up and held her hand out for Ranboo to grab he grabed it and she tried to pull him up but that failed miserably so he got up and grabed her hand again as she lead them up to her room they went up the stairs and when they got to her room she jumped on the bed as he followed
"Ranboo I know you said earlier that you would be shitty to do this today," Iris started saying he hadn't realized what she was doing but it was going to be something be something good
