Aria woke up with Sokka's yells. 'Seriously, can he be quiter?!' Aria thought with annoyance. She really needed to catch up to some sleep. She turned to her left side and closed her eyes, only to open them again in full realization. 'Sokka? Yelling in the morning? That is not normal' she thought as she got up as quickly as she good. Something wasn't right.
She got up and sprinted downstairs to find out what was going on. 'I swear, if this one of Sokka's overdramatic moments I-' Her thoughts were inturrapted though as she heard the next words
"Aang is gone" Sokka said
"What do you mean he is gone?" Aria asked
"He is nowhere to be found! Toph and me searched everywhere! She can't even 'see' him with her feet" Sokka explained further, doing his characterist hand movements.
Aria's face paled. This is the worst case scenario ever. 'Was he taken? No, Toph would have waken up minutes before the attacker even got here. Did he go somewhere and got taken there? ...Did he leave?' Aria's thoughts started spinning in her head and combined with her abrupt awakening, she felt dizzy wt=ith dark dots covering her vision.
"We need to find him. What if he is in trouble?" Katara said worringly
Everyone turned their heads to Zuko as if waiting for a response
"Why are you all looking at me?" Zuko asked with a confused expresion
"Well, you are the one who is the expert in finding the avatar. Tell us what to do" Sokka explained
"I don't think that's-" Zuko started irritated with an angry sigh, he then cotinued calmly as if an idea popped on his head
"I know someone who can help us. Come on we have to hurry. I'll explain on the way" Zuko said, already heading for Appa
Turns out, this someone was a woman who have helped Zuko find the avatar about a year ago. A very attractive woman at that. Who spent time with Zuko. Possibly alone time. Aria balled her fists to her sides, a sudden wave of jealousness taking over. 'Seriously, Aria why do you care? It was a long time ago anyway!' Aria tried to reason with herself. As more qnnoying thoughts occupied her mind, Aria got angrier with herself and the situation. 'Seriously, you need to find your friend. Stop thinking like that, for heaven's sake!'
"I see you found your girlfriend" the woman commented
"I am not his girlfriend!"
"She's not my girlfriend!"
Zuko and Katara exclaimed at the same time
"Ahem, our situtation? Do you have a solution or not?" Aria said crossing her arms, a little irritated. 'Seriously Aria, get a hold of yourself'her logical side scolded her
"Oooh, a fiesty one you got there. Watch it little girl. Keep using that tone and I won't help you" June responded
"I have a feeling you are wasting our time anyways" Aria responded smartly
"If you feel like that why don't you just-" June started, slowly gettin up from her seat
"Please June. You are the only option we have" Zuko said getting in between her and Aria
"Fine follow me. It's gonna cost you though" June said, heading for the exit of the bar
"Can you not fight with our solution?" Zuko asked turnong to Aria
"It's not my fault she was being a bitch" Aria said
"You weren't exactly polite either" Zuko said. he too crossing his arms
"She was wasting our time, when we clearly are in a hurry, like the end of the world did not matter to her at all! In fact, it's indifferent to her that she had time to make her stupid comments!" Aria whispered angrily to him
"Look I know she is a handful, but she is the only hope we have. You have to tolerate her for a little while. She is very skillful and she will find him for sure." Zuko tried to reassure her
"I see. Well, if you know her that well, I guess I have to trust you" Aria said and turned around to go outside
Zuko, just stood there for some seconds trying to understand what did he do wrong in the first place. Shaking his head, he decided that finding Aang was more important that trying to understand why Aria was mad at him too.
"I can't fine him" June said
"What?!" Katara said
"Oh now I can see the skill" Aria mattered, rolling her eyes
"It's not that I can't find where he is, it's like your friend never existed in the first place" June explained further
"How is that even possible? We were with him yesterday night!" Toph said
'This is bad. How can he just desappear. If she was lying Toph would have said somthing, so how can Aang desappear out of no where?' Aria started thiking, trying ti find any possible way that it could have happened, but no logical explanation came in mind.
"I want you to find someone else then " Zuko said, taking out a slipper from fis bag
"Whose is this?" June asked
"My uncle's" Zuko informed
"Very well follow me" June said
"Why do you want to find your uncle Zuko?" Aria asked
"Because he might be the only one, after Aang, who can defeat my father" Zuko explained
'General Iroh. Of course! He might be able to do it and even if he can't, he can buy us enouph time to either find Aang or come up with a plan to help him defeat the Firelord!' Aria thought, feeling hopeful again. They still, may have a small chance in victory.
