Ep 1 pt 3: Kissing Aliens

After school I find Tori watching her showcase performance. I had let myself into her house like I usually do, and there she was looking all mopey and sad.

"Please tell me you aren't quitting because of my cousin? I can't do this without you Tori!" I say as I plop down next to her.

"Don't worry, Trina already convinced me to stay," she says. "Can you believe that she actually complimented me?"

"Whew! Thank god!" I lean on her. "I was worried I'd have to start begging." She just laughs and pushes me off the couch.

When Tori walks into class everyone turns to her in surprise, except for me. I'm sitting next to Beck and away from Jade, seeing as I'm still upset with her. Beck's flannel is wrapped around my shoulders and I'm just waiting for him to ask for it back. So far he doesn't seem to mind.

"Tori, you're back," Sikowitz says as he whips the board off. "Have you ever thought about coming in through the window?"
"No."
"Think about it. Now, sit, sit." Tori pulls up a chair. Beck and I share a smile before turning back to the front. "Okay, today we're going to do some alphabetical improv. 'What is alphabetical improv?' you ask, so I answer. It's when we give a letter to the first actor who speaks in the scene. If we use the letter 'A' as an example, then the actor must make his first word start with the letter 'a' which might go something like-" He points over at Beck.

"Apple's are falling out of my butt." Everyone laughs.
"Lovely. Now, the next actor who speaks must start his line with the next letter in the alphabet, in this case, 'B' so he might say...." Sikowitz stands behind Andre and motions for him to continue.

"Bring those apples, so that we may all enjoy the fresh fruit from Beck's butt."
"Charming," Sitowitz says as he walks back to the stage. "Now, who wants to lead the first group?"
"I do," Tori calls out. Everyone turns to her.
"All right, Tori. Choose your actors."
"Okay," Tori starts. "Andre, Cat, Beck... and Jade. Yeah, you."

"Okay, if you start your line with the wrong letter," he makes a buzzer sound. "You're out. Robbie, give us a letter."
"P!" The puppet calls out.
"P."
"Oh, I was going to say 'P'!"
"Okay, the scene can be about anything you want. The first letter of the first line is 'p'. Tori, action."

"Please go take a shower." Tori rounds on Jade.
"Quit telling me what to do."
"Relax girls, let's all try to get along," Beck tries to reason.
"Totally!" Cat chimes in forgetting the letter we're on. Sikowitz makes a buzzing sound.

"Cat, your line had to start with an 'S'."
"Oh, my life's the worst!" The little redhead runs off stage.
"Here's a piece of candy," I say, pulling it out of my pocket.
"Yay, I love candy!"
"All right, Andre, letter 's' to you."

"Uh, something just bit my toe," Andre says.
"Turtle! That turtle just bit his toe," Tori chimes in.

"Unbelievable that you're even here," Jade jumps in.
"Very immature of you to say that," Beck reprimands.
"Uh-"
"Come on Andre, "w"!"
"What if the turtle bite broke my toe bone?"
"X-rays are the only way to find out."
"You should shut up," Jade says to Tori.
"Zap! I just healed your toe with my magic finger." Beck points down at Andre's toe.
"Thanks!" Sikowitz buzzes.
"Andre, your line had to start with an 'a'. Sit down."
"Ah, and I just got my toe bone fixed."
"Tori, letter 'a' to you."

"Aliens are the only people who can heal toes by finger zapping."
"By the way," Jade says before blowing a raspberry at Tori.
"Correct, I am an alien." Everyone gasps.
"Oh a twist!" Sikowitz says.
"Don't hurt me, please." Tori steps closer to Beck.
"Even though she's extremely annoying," Jade says through clenched teeth.
"Fainting, because I can't breathe your earth's air." Beck falls to the group leaving only Jade and tori standing in a face off.

"Gosh! It fainted!" Tori points down at beck.
"Excellent! Tori and Jade, keep going, the next letter is 'h'." Sikowitz cheers.
"Hey, why don't you go jump over that cliff over there?"
"I think you should."
"Just where did you come from?"
"Kangaroos."

"Lousy animals, kangaroos. They're awkward and dirty." Jade walks around Beck to the other side of Tori.
"Maybe they learned from you." The whole class oohs.
"No one talks to me like that."
"Obviously someone should."
"Please run in front of a bus."
"Quite obnoxious of you to say."
"Really?"
"Sure was."
"Thanks."

"Up your nose, I see boogers."
"Very clever."
"Wish you'd thought of it?"
"'X' marks the spot I'd like to punch."
"Your finger smells weird."
"Zero is what you are on a scale from one to 10."

"And back to the letter 'a'," Sikowitz calls to Tori.
"As if I care what you think."
"Better watch yourself."
"Can't take it?"
"Don't push me."
"Eat your pants!"
"You eat your pants! Wait!" Jade spins around with her hand out. Sikowitz makes a buzzing sound.

"Sorry Jade, the next letter was-"
"'F' I know!" She storms off stage.
"Keep the scene going. Letter 'G'!" Sikowitz says as Beck begins to push himself up and off the ground.

"Get up, alien!" Tori helps Beck up.
"Head- feels dizzy." Tori looks over to me where I'm sat on leaning back in my seat on my phone. I only know this because I glance up at the same time.
"I know what'll make you feel better."
"Jumping Jacks?"
"Kiss Bowie." I sit up straight with my eyes wide. Beck looks over at me.
"Let's do it." He walks off the stage and straight to me where he pulls me up and into his chest. The next thing I know his lips are on mine and his hands are on my waist.

"Wow," I whisper as he pulls away.
