jaemin perspective

i opened my eyes quickly only to see nothing but white, i sat up looking around, hearing the screams of the outside world but hearing the sign of someone calling me.

"jaemin-ah, come join me."

"we're losing him, come on kiddo keep fighting."

they clouded everything until i covered my ears and shit my eyes.

i jolted awake and looked around, seeing the doctor, sweat trickling down my face as he checked the monitor.

"he's stable."

looking everywhere, the nurse injected something in me and i slowly went back to sleep.

haechan perspective

i waited patiently and soon i saw the doctor, i stood up and went towards him.

"is he okay?"

"we managed to take the bullet out, he got lucky it didn't hit an important organ or he wouldn't have made it. as of now, he is stable but we'll have to keep him here since it's safer."

"can i see him?"

we went into his room as we were granted permission and i sat next to him, grabbing his hand and rubbing it. i continued to cry as it pained me so much to see him here and it made me feel at fault. i shouldn't have made them meet, i shouldn't have intervened with his life.

"i'm sorry, this is all my fault."
