His Unexpected[ SLOW UPDATES]

Chapter 11

I went out of his office immediately so I could get him his coffee. I don't know where the kitchen is because there are a lot of rooms here . I was about to move into one of the rooms when I heard a voice calling out to me .

" Nevah . " the voice called and I turned and I saw Genesis

" Hey... ." Genesis . I said

"Hey . How are you ? ." she asked

"I am great and you?." I asked

"I ... am awesome . " She said chirping happily

"Well that's great . "I simply said

"Yeah it is . "She said grinning like an idiot

"If I may ask, what are you so happy ?. I mean you are so happy anyone could just see it ." I asked curiously

"Well I know that my Happiness is shown for everyone to see , that is how I want it . I am just happy that you have started working with Davien which means that I am FREE ." She said shrugging her shoulder

"Freedom from Mr Russel , I don't understand ." I said feeling confused

"What can I say about your dear boss DAVIEN. He is such a wonderful boss and so nice ." she said with her hands together and looking up to the celling as if she was fantasizing .

Please note the sarcasm . she said

'Am I safe ? ." I asked

"Totally dear ." She said looking at me with so much confident

"You are special ." she said

"How ? ." I asked

"Nev , Davien doesn't employ any how people , since the last 3 years I have been his assistant and I begged him to let me go but he said No because he doesn't trust anyone . He doesn't trust anyone but ." She said but stopped midway

'You can do it sweet heart ." She said and I felt motivated by her words . I am sure her words has a deep meaning but it is hard to figure it out .

"Thanks Genesis ." I said

"I have to go . "she said

"WAIT!." I said

"Yes ." she answered

"Please can I know where the kitchen is because he asked me to get him his coffee? . "I asked

"Oh okay , The kitchen is at the third room at your left and your office is opposite his own . "she pointing to Mr Russel's office .

'Thanks ." I said and she was about to leave then she turned back

"Nevah , do you know how he likes his coffee ." she asked and I nodded yes

"Black and no sugar ." We said in unison

"Like his life ." she said and I laughed

"MISS GEORGE ." A gruff voice said

"Duty calls ." she said giving me a small laugh

"Bye ." I said with a little laugh

"Ciao . "she said and rushed into Mr Russel's office

I went immediately to the mini kitchen .

"Wow ! The kitchen does not even look like an office kitchen . " I said in awe

I saw a coffee maker and I didn't feel like using it . So , I got a coffee mug with a matching saucer and a teaspoon

I grabbed the hot black coffee and I put one and the half teaspoon and added a little hot water and I sipped a bit and I spat it out because it was damn bitter and I dropped the used spoon and I put the coffee on the saucer and went straight to Mr Russel's office .

I knocked and I heard "come in" and I did as told .

"Sir, this is your coffee . " I said

"Leave it there ." He said and I did and stood there . Genesis was glaring at him and he was just working on his laptop like no one there .It seemed like they had an argument but someone needed to break this silence but I volunteered to do so

"Is that all sir?." I asked and he looked up from his laptop

"Yes that will be all ." He said with his rich velvet voice that coarsed through my skin bringing shivers to my spine . We stared at each other for what I thought was like minutes but was only few second ignoring the facts that Genesis was there . I never noticed how cold and stoic his eyes was piercing through my skin , his mesmerizing his blue eyes were and how chiseled his jaw , so sharp and precise . God actually made a wonderful creature in front of me . I could drown in his eyes .He looked away and i immediately became embarrassed .

"C'mon Nevah , did I just ogle my boss at the first day at work." I said mentally scolded myself. He looked so dominant

I noticed that I was the only one standing there , Genesis already left and I spoke afterwards .

"Ok sir. "I said and spinned my heels and walked away .

I got to my new office and It was WOW! . So beautiful and classy still feels comfy. There was a couch at the left side and the wooden mahogany desk at the center and immediately noticed the new phone , laptop and ipad . They were too much but I guess he would have given this to his previous assistant afterwards it is for work right ?.

I took my seat and turn on all the gadget and started backing up my previous files to my new phone . I checked the laptop and I saw that all the company's files are here that means this had been done by my lifesaver , thank God .

Few hours later

I checked the time and I saw it was already 12:10pm and it means it is lunch break , No wonder I was so hungry , I was so busy checking out the new gadget and doing my job . Thankfully and sadly , Mr Russel hasn't call me yet. I rushed to his office to inform him about me going to get lunch .

I knocked his door and he gruffly said 'come in' and I did .

"I will be going to grab lunch sir , but I will come back exactly 1 pm sir." I said looking at him . I noticed his loose hanged tie and his jacket at the back of his chair .

"Go on, but remember miss Axcel , I .HATE. TARDINESS , SO. DON'T. BE .LATE. AND. I .WILL. TAKE. YOUR .WORD. FOR. IT ". he said emphasing each word and I gulped and nodded slowly .

"Now GET OUT ." He said and my eyes grew like saucers . I quickly moved to elevation and punched the 1st floor . Immediately, the elevator door closed I breathe a sigh of relief.
