━━━ HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT to think. His head was spinning around in circles. First he lost his mother, Jane—the love of his life, his father, his planet, Loki, and now Natasha.

     It wasn't real.

     No it wasn't.

Thor absolutely refused to believe that she was actually gone.

Together they fought aliens and robots. They stood on the frontlines defending the world. Nick Fury put them together in a team to fight the battles the average human being never could. They started their heroism together.

And he had already lost her.

Just like he lost everyone else.

But couldn't they bring her back? They were the bloody Avengers for lord's sake. They could do anything. They got the stones. Wouldn't it be simple to just snap her back with them?

"You're acting like she's dead. Why are we acting like she's dead?" Thor said angrily. "We have the stones right? As long as we have the stones, Cap, we can bring her back. Isn't that right? Stop this shit! We're the Avengers! Get it together!"

"We can't get her back," Clint firmly stated, his bitter words laced with regret and utter pain.

Thor stared at Clint in disbelief. "What?" he started to stammer.

"It can't be undone," Clint said. "It can't."

Thor started to dryly laugh, thinking that Clint was just joking. "I'm sorry. No offense, but you're a very earthly being. Okay? We're talking about space magic. And 'can't' seems very definitive don't you think?"

"Yeah, look, I know that I'm way outside my paygrade here. But she still isn't here, is she?" Clint spat venomously.

"No, that's my point—"

"It can't—be undone. Or that's at least what the red floating guy had to say." Clint started to shout. "Maybe you wanna go talk to him, okay? GO GRAB YOUR HAMMER, AND YOU GO FLY AND TALK TO HIM!"

Thor looked down at the ground in pain.

It was her sacrifice, and she did it for the better of the world. But she was gone, and Thor just could not accept it.

The amount of times I have cried because of Thor's pure denial of Nat's death is not okay.
