Chorong winced as the liquor flowed down to his throat. He placed the glass on top of the bar's island marbled table and raised his finger to call the bartender's attention.
"Negroni," he said and the bartender quickly tended to his order. He immediately downed the drink as soon as he received the liquor, liking how it burns his throat.
He decided to go out to get some fresh air once he saw that everyone is asleep at Dong-min's place. His nerves are all over after hearing the news that Mr. Han managed to escape. He knows being out in the open is not the best thing to do right now but he feels suffocated and he needed a distraction. He feels like he is about to go crazy with all events happening to them, to their group. He wishes they could go back to the way they were before but a huge part of him also doesn't like it. He likes how peaceful their lives were in the village but he knows those peaceful days won't last.
He glanced at the people wildly dancing on the dance floor. His eyes then went to the people having fun at VIP sections like they have no regrets nor problems in their lives. They were like that before, having fun like there is no tomorrow, but why is it that he feels disgusted looking at those kinds of people?
He looked at the empty glass in front of him as different thoughts surge through his mind. He sighed and searched for his cigarette from his pocket and cursed when he cannot find anything. Suddenly, a stick of cigarette was offered by a person who sat next to him. It was Minwoo. He is wearing a black cap like he is preventing his face to be seen and recognized.
"So you're following me now?" Chorong scoffed as he averted his gaze from Minwoo to the bottles of liquor displayed on the shelves. Minwoo placed the stick in between Chorong's fingers when the fat guy did not accept his offer. "Why the fuck are you here?"
"I'm here to warn you," Minwoo answered as he looks around, alarmed that someone might see them. "Don't look at me. It's not safe here. Meet me in the alley at the back."
Minwoo then stood up and walked towards the back door of the bar. Chorong cursed under his breath and lit up the cigarette before standing up and following Minwoo. He saw Minwoo waiting as he opened the door. He is leaning his back on the wall with a cigarette also hanging in his mouth. Chorong puffed a cloud of smoke as he walked towards Minwoo.
"How's boss?" Minwoo asked as Chorong got near him. The fat guy sneered at what he had heard from the person who just pointed his gun at them days ago.
"Why the sudden concern?" Chorong jeered. "You were about to sell us to that fucking old man, remember?"
Minwoo lowered his gaze and puffed from his smoke. "You know I can't do that. I only said that out of anger." Minwoo avoided his judging stare and cursed not liking how the fat guy looks at him.
"He's not okay," Chorong gave up and answered his question. Even though he is annoyed at the guy in front of him, he knows he is being sincere with his worry for their leader. "After knowing that Soomi is in the hands of Mr. Han, it drove him insane, and it is not helping him recover at all."
"He has gone mad, hasn't he?" Minwoo commented about their leader's feelings towards the girl they were supposed to kill months ago. Minwoo chuckled quietly and threw his cigarette on the floor, stomping on it to put out the fire. "Heck with love!"
"What can we do? His heart has spoken," Chorong commented as well and both of them chuckled. "So, what is this warning you were saying earlier?"
Minwoo looked at Chorong and inserted both of his hands in his leather jacket. "He's planning to blow up the orphanage. He will not just use Soomi against In-yeop, he will also include those innocent children."
