It had been the day after Barry told Iris the truth. That he was in love with her. It felt like her entire friendship with him was a lie. She was at her dad's house.
"Dad, can I talk to you?"
"Ya," Joe said
"Barry to-"
"He finally told you? That he's in love with you."
"Ya. Wait how long have you known?"
"I noticed it when he was around 15."
Iris just looked shocked. That was so long of her being oblivious.
"And the worse thing is we've kissed..." she said
"WHAT?!" Joe yelled then spat out his drink.
"Ya..." she stared at the floor.
Joe was shocked. Iris wondered if this is how his crush started. Or even worse how hers did.
