Ch. 4 "Shock"

                                                    Spencer POV 

I looked up at Tony in a panic, 

"This can't be true, there must be some-" I said with a shaky voice, 

"I'm sorry Spnce it is, there is a reason the file was encrypted, and this is why, he's working for them," He said sternly 

"But-" I began in a panic

"Hey, Hey it's alright," He said 

I shook my head no, 

"No none of this is alright," I said feeling tears well up, 

"None, I should've-" I began, 

That quickly Tony brought me in a hug, muffling my cries as my head was buried in the fabric of his suit, 

This was becoming all too overwhelming, the man I thought I loved, the man that not only emotionally and mentally and physically harmed me, but he worked for them, for the Enemy, for the people my brother and his friends fought agains, HYDRA, 

How could I not see it, how could I let this happen, 

                                      Tony POV 

I could tell Spencer had no knowledge of any of this, I could see the confusion and most of all I could see the hurt, 

I couldn't stand seeing her like this, and I want to personally murder the guy myself, but I know that's not how we do things, 

I tried to comfort her, but I know this is going to take time, I could tell there was more going on than just the physical injuries, She was hurting, and not talking about it, 

And it pissed me off, that this guy got to her like this, Spencer, my little sister, beyond brilliant, strong witty and has better comebacks than I do, sure she was alway shy, but she was always that way,

Now this fragile, jumpy and paranoid woman, It pained me to no end to see her like this, 

I petted her head until she finally calmed down, 

"I'm uh, going to my room for a little," She said 

I nodded, 

"Take your time," I said cupping her face and kissing her forehead, 

She nodded and walked down the hallway, 

I walked in the main room seeing Nat and Clint, 

"Well?" I asked 

"Got her a few things, by the looks of it, no one has been in there for some time now, he took off," Nat said 

I nodded, 

"I want him found," I said 

They both nodded, 

I walked out of the room, 

Because I'm going to have a few things to talk about with that son of a bitch, I thought as I stormed to the Elevator, 

I hit the button for the penthouse, I get off the Elevator seeing Pepper, 

"Hey," She said smiling at me, 

"Hey," I said kissing her, 

"Have you seen Spence?" I asked 

She shook her head no, 

I nodded walking towards Spence's room, I open the door seeing her asleep her head off the pillow and the covers at the end of the bed, 

I shook my head, I guess some things never change, I thought as I smiled, 

I walked over to her, 

I lifted her head putting the pillow under her head, just like I used to when she was little and I pulled the covers over her body, 

I kissed her temple, 

"I'll take care of this, I promise," I whispered 

With that I walked out of the room closing the door quietly,
