Ch. 17 "different "

                                                    Spencer POV

It has been a few weeks since my little breakdown, and lets just say Tony has blown this whole thing out of proportion,

I can't get within ten feet of the damn door to the main door of the building without Friday informing Tony,

I feel like I'm on probation or something,

Now things between James and I are....

Complicated, yeah that's the word,

Ever since that kiss...

When he's around, I get butterflies, I feel my cheeks turn red, I can't explain it,

I was currently standing on the roof trying not to think about how high up I was I have a little thing about hight's, they terrify me,

I was mainly looking at the sunrise,

I let out a deep breath, the fog from my breath appearing in the air from the cold,

I had my elbow on the railing as my chin was in my hand,

"So this is where you've been," I hear from behind me,

I look over my shoulder and see James,

I just nodded,

He chuckled,

"Beautiful isn't it?" He said

"Mmm, almost like a painting," I said softly,

"So what are you doing up here this early and in this freezing weather," He said

"Thinking," I mumbled

"About what?" He said

"Why Tony is overreacting," I said

"You and I both know he isn't, you took off," He said

"Yeah, well he needs to stop treating me like I'm made of glass," I mumbled,

I hear him chuckle,

"Did I say something funny?" I asked as I tilted my head,

"No, you are many things, brilliant, beautiful, but made of glass isn't one of them," He said

I smiled,

Then that night of the kiss flashed in my mind, and I felt the butterflies, and I felt my face turn red,

"What's with the face?' He asked

"What face?" I asked

"That face," He said pointing at me and smirking,

"It's not a face this is my face," I said

"Come on Spence I know better than that," He said

"Do you?" I said smirking at him

"More than you realize," he said smirking back

"There you are Tony is looking for you Spencer," Nat said

"Of course he is," I mumbled heading for the exit

I look over my shoulder to see Bucky looking at me in a different way a way no one has looked at me before,

With that I left,

I was on my way to Tony when I felt something hit me in the back of the head hard and everything went black,

Bucky POV

I watched as Spencer left she looked confused it was cute, I smiled watching her, she was just so beautiful

"Careful Bucky, Tony catches you making goo goo eyes at his little sister he just might strand you on a deserted island," Nat said

"He can try," I said as I left

I was walking down the hall to see Derek have Spencer over his shoulder unconscious,

"No!" I yelled

He shot at me I dodged out of the way, behind a wall I peek around the corner

"Friday alert the team!" I said running trying to find him

"Of course." The AI said

I make my way outside to see him jump in a van with Spencer,

"Spence!!" I yelled shooting at the van but they got away
