Description: "I'm not too familiar with Escrima or the fighting style associated with the sticks but I'll be honest in saying that it's almost elegant seeing Ramil use these shock sticks. Anyhow these unsurprisingly can shock people at the end of the escrima sticks enough to send people straight to the ground, it's mostly intended for non-lethal but in the hands of someone like Ramil? The person on the receiving end is gonna wish it was lethal."
BACKGROUND Ramil Villanueva was born on the streets of Quezon City raised by the homeless as his teenage parents abandoned him not wanting the responsibility of raising a child. Ramil spent a good amount of his time on the streets encountering horrific acts of violence and crime that made surviving much more difficult, even at ten years old Ramil didn't even know how to speak properly and to make up for it he learned to understand body language which helped in him avoiding specific individuals.
Ramil however was eventually caught stealing from a restaurant till his eventual stepfather Cesar Villanueva caught him in the act, Ramil at first was terrified but he was actually met with kindness which was a rarity for him to experience. Ramil was eventually adopted into Cesar's family and Ramil for the first experienced what having a true home meant.
Over the years Ramil would become proficient in speaking but still used his exceptional skill in reading body language to help stay away from specific crowds. Ramil however at age 14 began training in various martial arts like boxing, jiu-jitsu and taekwondo and quickly became very effective these arts. Ramil would participate in a variety of tournaments winning three by the time he turned 18. Ramil soon traveled across Asia to learn more about martial arts picking Muay Thai, Kali and Escrima quickly becoming a master.
Ramil would eventually join the philippines police and quickly impressed the right people with his various skills, one in particular being his detective skills as learning to read body language has helped in solving some cases. He eventually was transferred to the elite Special Action Force where his skills only got better with time leading to him being the unit's main instructor in martial arts training and detective work.
Ramil has made quite an impressive list of accomplishment in the 27 years he's served. His experience and wisdom is nearly unmatched to the point he was offered a chance to teach american special forces which he did accept for time taking Andrej "Snake" Harper under his wing but in all that time he never once developed a friendship or relationship with anyone surprisingly.
PSYCHOLOGICAL "Ramil Villanueva was a man of few words as he spent an half hour sizing me up but once he figured I meant him no harm he questioned why I sought him out. I decided to be blunt saying rainbow could use his skills and experience but he wasn't really that thrilled then asking what he'd get out of it.
I figured these questions were only being asked so that he's 100% certain. I told him rainbow is an organization priding itself on it's diversity and told he might enjoy lending his experience to the other ops of exchanging wisdom with Thatcher or Kaid. What surprised me was that Ramil actually said he doesn't at all get along with Thatcher saying 'he speaks as if he knows anything about wisdom yet has no idea what respect is.'
This apparently caused the two to brawl where it's said Ramil whooped Thatcher's ass with ease and as such are banned from ever being a part of the same operations. I assured him he'd wouldn't have to deal with Thatcher if he didn't want to and he found it acceptable and requested he'd in charge of teaching CQC to the ops that need and I was more than happy to agree as I know the ops back home will hate him as a teacher which I love." ~Sam "Zero" Fisher
