Description: "my first impressions of the Scorch Launcher were that of confusion, mainly cause it looks like it was just thrown together without a care but it somehow works as intended. The Scorch Launcher similar to mine can launch a set of pellets that will attach to most surfaces, when activated the pellets will begin heating up melting away the surface they're attached. Very similar to mine but much more silent so I can see Cedric having a use in reconnaissance and stealth operations, the melting process takes about ten to fifteen seconds to finish making a decent sized hole and when Cedric told he made this for his search and rescue missions? I believed him."
BACKGROUND Born in the same neighborhood as Rainbow operative Frost, Cedric McIntyre was highly sociable and liked trying new things which has made him highly adaptable to any situation. Cedric due his interest in trying new things, he insisted that Tina take him hunting with her though she was very reluctant due to his inexperience but he eventually convinced. The hunting trip was a disaster, Cedric's inexperience nearly resulted Tina's untimely demise.
Cedric was said to have changed as he took his failure pretty hard resulting in him becoming more timid and kept to himself. His family eventually left for Ireland as he left a note apologizing to Tina but not to her face as he felt shame that his mistake nearly resulted in the death of someone he cared for. Cedric once he turned eighteen enlisted in the Irish army completing his basic training at camp Curragh. During training it's said he looked out for everyone over himself which almost resulted in failing the basic training but his drill instructors found his selfless character admirable and felt he had potential.
It didn't take long for Cedric to make a name for himself as he stood out as a highly respected leader who took care of his people to go along with the his successful search and rescue operations which he apparently begged to be a part of resulting him being the go to operative for search and rescue as he works himself to the bone to find someone. This determination and skill led to him being recruited into the Army Ranger Wing where his talents were fully appreciated with his most successful operation being Red Claymore where he and his team sabotaged a narcotic operation on the border of Ireland and England.
Cedric's tight leadership made the operation perhaps the most methodical that Ireland has ever seem. Cedric was appropriately rewarded for his efforts and is the unit's top operative, in Cedric's spare time he helps locate missing persons on a regular basis for little to no pay as he isn't out to get rich by it.
PSYCHOLOGICAL "Focused is certainly a way to describe Cedric, he's calculating to the point I think he could give Ash a run in that department but it isn't without reason. His leadership skills benefit greatly from his focused and calculating nature but one wouldn't be exactly wrong in assuming Cedric can be overly strict. Cedric understands many operatives won't be comfortable with how he runs things as he does run his teams tight but he assures it they'll benefit from it.
Cedric's confidence wasn't exactly shocking but Cedric told me he wouldn't call it confidence saying he understands his abilities and will use them to their full potential which came off as confidence but fits more in line with self-actualization. I questioned on how he'll be able to work with Operative Frost due to their history, Cedric was very quiet as if the question caught him off guard. But he assured me there wouldn't be any problems as he can suck it up but admits he'll likely feel uncomfortable.
I questioned further asking why he would be, he says he respects Frost more so than himself but is reminded of his failure that nearly killed her. I figured that's what drives him so hard to the bone as he hopes to never fail someone again." Harishva "Harry" Pandey
