Just another day in Ninjago City. It was a cloudy day in the city and yet, everyone still walked happily down the streets without a care in the world. It's been a year since Nya merged with the sea. She became one with the entire ocean and had disappeared to who knows where. Everyone had gotten over losing their beloved Water Ninja. She had made such a huge sacrifice for everyone in Ninjago, but it's been a year and everyone has gotten over her.

...Well, everyone, except Jay.

The Lightning Ninja, Master of Lightning; Nya's Yin, a.k.a love interest.

It did make sense that he would still be mourning over the loss of his Yang; who wouldn't be upset over losing their beloved. Nya was his everything and in just a snap, she was gone. Every time Jay came across something involving Nya - water, the ocean, Water Ninja memorials, etc - he would remember all the pleasant memories of her which gave him have an emotional breakdown every time.

Grey clouds moved slowly in the skies, signaling that it was about to rain.

Rain; that was water.

For most people in Ninjago, that meant that they had to find shelter to avoid getting soaked by the rain. But for the Master of Lightning, it meant another reason to mourn over his former girlfriend.

Currently, Jay was sitting on a couch in the Monastery's relaxation room. He was looking at a picture of him and Nya; it was taken after they had defeated Lord Garmadon. He gave a sad smile at the memory and sighed, "I miss you, Nya... I wish you were still here."

"Still mourning over, Nya?" A new voice chimed in and it caused Jay to jump out of his seat. He looked to the source of the sound and saw Lloyd smiling. The Green Ninja was leaning on the wall beside the doorframe and he had a small smirk on his relaxed face.

Jay sighed yet again, "You can't blame me, can you?" He sat back down on the couch and lifted the picture of him and Nya again, "She was my Yang, and I was her Yin..." He explained sadly.

Lloyd walked towards the saddened Lightning Elemental before he sat on the couch beside him, "I guess I can't blame you... But still, it's been a year. You've got to get over her eventually," When Jay didn't respond, Lloyd sighed and tried to explain, "Look, I know it's hard for you because she was your everything, Jay, but she isn't coming back-"

"She's still alive, Lloyd!" Jay snapped, cutting him off. Lloyd looked a bit surprised by his sudden outburst but understood either way why he got mad. Seeing the mixed look of fear and surprise on Lloyd's face, he groaned, "Sorry, it's just that talking about Nya... It just- You know, gets to me. It's very hard to just let her go when I still love her. And knowing that she's still out there somewhere, it doesn't help at all with letting her go."

Lloyd let out a breath and smiled at his friend, "It's alright, Jay. If anything, I should be the one apologizing. I might've gone a bit too far with the whole 'she isn't coming back' thing. Sorry," Both of them shared a good laugh before Lloyd added, "And if anyone knows what you're going through right now, It's me," He frowned.

"How would you know what it's like to lose someone you love romantically?" Jay asked. Lloyd cocked a brow and a look of realization flashed across Jay's face, "Ohh. Right, Harumi. Sorry about her, pal," Lloyd looked at the floor in sorrow at the mention of his former lover's name, "I know she was something special to you. And I'm pretty sure you two would've made a great couple if she were still here."

Lloyd nodded, smiling miserably. He reached into his pocket and took out a picture of him and Harumi. It was that one time when they were on the Destiny's Bounty together, holding hands.

He gave a genuine smile at the happy but deceitful memory, "I miss her," He admitted the obvious out of the blue.

"I miss Nya, too," He then rubbed his neck awkwardly, "I guess now I know how you felt when you lost Harumi," He laughed timidly.
