I tried to find solace in the waves
but they kept crashing over me
I tried to find solace in sunshine
but it kept burning my skin
I tried to find solace in working hard
but couldn't take the lack of sleep
I tried to find solace in the arms of another
but that just cost me my heart
Finally, I found solace within myself
that's all I need for now.
