6• A Petite Endeavour

My scarlet heart in an elevated mood,
Floating silently with all other pieces,
In the gentle curve of my lively river,
Is able to recount my best wishes,
It embellish everything that it finds,
To stand fervent, is what it never ceases,
And with this empathy, I embrace it
With the gift that my psyche cherishes.

The gift is not a mere present but,
Is a bless, not less than that.
He has, as if, taken an oath,
To turn into a shield for me and stand,
To love me the most and care for me,
Nurture with his robust tender hands.
I wonder how words before to my lips,
Visits his mind, though is unplanned.

The ravishing attic of my memory,
Is festooned with esteemed days.
His accompany from my potter to dash,
Is what the souvenir displays,
The patent stiffness of my cravings,
Pacifies itself by his versatile ways,
The bond that we share is so precious,
That I adore it more than the sun rays.

Going to school holding his hand,
And coming back home on his lap,
The caress that my brows know,
He used to give before taking a nap,
I ardently honour the amazing tie,
That holds our heart with a lovely strap,
I know I couldn't find a man like him,
Anywhere I explore around the map.

Tears turn the path misty,
Not to allow them is how he secures,
Teaches me to stand resilient,
But in dolour, he is the one to endure.
My silent sobs are so loud to him,
Though he always manages to cure.
If my petite attempt can elucidate him,
To me is absolutely obscure.

Universe knows how humane is he,
The Sun knows how altruistic are his acts,
The Moon knows how he turns my armour,
The Trees know how unfeigned are his facts,
The streams know how much winsome is he,
He knows how to keep all the ties intact,
I know, in this dawn how blessed am I,
To have got him as my DAD.
