11• Inexplicable Blessings

I remember!
And I will remember it forever.
 She wiped my eyes,
which shed tears
for some fears.
She roughed out a sketch,
that rendered me out of my wretch.
She knows me better,
and loves me more
than myself.
She defines our friendship at odds,
and believes in compliments
with slaps and kicks,
to keep it fun-wrapped.
She loves to help me out,
but she hates it when I thank her.
So different is she!
Or perhaps,
so exceedingly lucky am I
to have got her as my best friend.

Now he arrives the topic,
who takes more fun
than taking pride in the magical smartness he is accorded with.
But I take pride in the magical goodness,
he carries in his heart.
The strange forgiveness he is blessed with,
actually blesses every friendship.
So exceedingly lucky am I
to have got him as my best friend.

Together the oath we took,
to tender the friendship with an
eternal life,
is the oath that holds us more firmly.
The days we spend,
see us squabbling,
hear us grumbling,
while we are actually playing.
But these days are much like
Starry Nights,
which are dark,
yet bright,
solacing,
and something without which,
one cannot keep on.
So exceedingly lucky am I,
to have got them as
my Best Friends.
