Writers POV:
It's been a few days and a few jokes were passed around here and there to annoy Bucky and Steve, Y/n and Wanda have been spending most their time together watching TV and taking walks around the city
As y/n is sitting in her room Natasha comes through the door "Hey sis what you up to?" She asks and she sits opposite her younger sister "Oh nothing just killing time, me and Wanda are watching a movie later on if you'd like to join us" She says "I'd love to, plus I need to spend time with my sister and my favourite person" She smiles "Excuse me I thought I was you're favourite" Y/n pouts and Natasha gets up to walk out the door
"Yes of course you're my favourite sister" She says and walks away, y/n smiles big until she's hit with realisation "Wait a minute that's because I'm your ONLY sister" She shouts after Nat only to hear her distant laugh in response "Damn you Romanoff" y/n says quietly and throws herself onto her bed in a huff
"Let me guess Natasha is winding you up again" Wanda lays next to her as y/n fakes a dramatic sigh "It's all your fault you seem to be her new favourite person" she looks at Wanda trying to be serious "That's funny because she's also my favourite person" Wanda teases and y/n buries her head in her pillow leaving out a muffled scream "Whatever"
"Aww you poor baby you want a pacifier to stop you from crying" Wanda says in a tone as if she's speaking to a baby and y/n sits up and looks at her with a very unsatisfied look "You spend way to much time around Natasha" making Wanda laugh loudly before she pulls y/n in for a hug
"I'm kidding of course you're my favourite person as well" She whispers while her head is rested on y/n's shoulder as they both pull away they stare into each others eyes for a lengthy amount of time before y/n snaps out of it a quickly stands up "Well I think we should go down and get set up" She reaches her hand out for Wanda to take and both of them walk to the living room
Y/N's POV:
For a minute there I got so lost in Wanda's green eyes they are beautiful just like her....I shouldn't be feeling this way she's my best friend I don't want to ruin anything plus I don't think she even likes girls oh god this is going to kill me
"Earth to y/n" I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Wanda as she waves her hand in front of my face "Sorry I got lost there for a minute" I tell her "You wanna talk about it?" I shake my head "No it was nothing important" I say but to me it was very important
*Awhile into the movie*
The movie is almost over me and Wanda are cuddled up on the couch and I feel Wanda lay her head on my shoulder "You good?" I quietly ask but when she doesn't respond I look down and see she is out cold I look across at Nat who's just smirking at me as I go all red
"Wipe that smirk off your face Natasha" I glare at her knowing exactly what she's thinking before even having to read her mind "What it's funny seeing you get so flustered over, her when are you going to tell her though?" she asks
"I'm not going to because she's not into me" I reply then she let's out a laugh "You're so oblivious you idiot the whole team can see you both like each other" As I hear that I go quiet thinking am I really that obvious
"Okay this conversation is over I'm taking her to her room see you in the morning Nat" I pick up Wanda from the couch and carry her back to her room and lay her in her bed under the covers I stand back for a minute before kissing her forehead "Sweet Dreams Wands" I whisper while walking out the door "same to you y/n" She faintly says making me smile on my way to my own room
*3AM*
Wanda's POV:
I'm automatically brought out of my sleep when I hear noises across the hall it's sounds like it's from y/n's room I look at the time it's 3am why is she up at this hour, I make my way out of the room and into y/n only to see she was still asleep and she was having a nightmare I walk over and gently shake her trying to wake her up
"Hey y/n wake up please y/n" I say after a few tries she shoots up from the bed and her head collides with mine "Ouch" I say holding my head looking at y/n who looks horrified "Oh my god Wanda I'm so sorry are you okay?" She frantically asks "I'm fine don't worry, the real question is are you okay I heard you having a nightmare"
"Oh I'll be okay just a small night terror nothing that'll kill me" She says to me but I know she's lying she's not okay "Y/n be honest with me please how long have you been having nightmares?" I question with a worried tone "Um well I suppose since I got out of the base, I've been having trouble sleeping because of them" Her tired eyes look so drained it breaks my heart so I jump in the bed next to her in hopes I can help her get a full night's sleep
"I'll stay with you tonight then just incase you have another nightmare" She turns to face me and looks me in the eye "You don't have to stay I'll be okay I don't want you struggling to sleep" However I just get more comfortable and cuddle into her laying my head on her chest hinting to her that I'm not leaving she sighs before wrapping her arms around me
"You'll be the death of me Maximoff" I smile hearing exactly what I had said about her the other day and with that we both drifted off to sleep.
