The next morning Bucky took Y/n out but stopped for breakfast along the way at a small cafe
"So where are you taking me on this fine morning" Y/n asks before taking a sip of her coffee
"What would be the fun in telling you?" Bucky smirks getting a look off his friend
"I could be in bed cuddle up with my girlfriend right now" She huffs as Bucky just laughs at her
"Whatever let's get going" Bucky throws money on the table and they both leave to the car
After a 20 minute drive they finally reached their destination and when Y/n looked out the window she could see a big building they walked inside and Bucky went up to the receptionist looking for whoever they were there for
"Follow me and please be nice" He begs walking down the hallway
They both stop outside an office with the name 'Dr Christina Raynor' on the door
"Now I know you didn't get me out of bed to bring me to a therapist Bucky I swear I will kill you" Y/n's annoyed voice rings through the corridor and with that the door is opened
"I didn't expect to see you here for a long time James is everything okay?" The doctor asks with a look of confusion
"I'm fine I do have a friend here who I think you could help" Bucky points back at Y/n as they make their way to the couch and sit down
"Oh well let's start with the basics and why you're here" Dr. Raynor says sitting in her office chair
Y/N's POV
I can't believe he brought me to a therapist I mean therapy is not going to help with what I've done, What if she sends me to prison for murder my god Bucky better bail me out
"Well my name is Y/N Y/L/N, I'm Y/A years old and I've got an older sister who left when I was young but we met each other again awhile back, and I also think this isn't going to help" I tell hear earning a nudge in the ribs from Bucky
"How about we try first before you decide that this won't work" She says with a serious look and I nid my head
After telling her my whole story it goes silent for awhile and I could've sworn she was thinking about calling the police, but instead she asked me a question
"If you feel like you bring trouble wherever you go why did you let them bring you back instead of running, as you say they'd be better off?"
"I don't know honestly I want to run so bad but I'm scared of the hurt I'll leave behind" I respond lazily
"But you said you're going to hurt them anyway if you stay so either way people are going to be hurt" She starts pointing out the facts and it's really getting to me
"I know it's deeper than you wanting to run away, that would be to hard for you because you'll carry all the guilt with you you'll never outrun it's not something you want to do" I'm starting to get really pissed off she keeps pushing
"You know what Doc you're right I don't want to run but I also don't want to stay so maybe it would've been better for everyone if Strucker had just killed me years ago that way I wouldn't have to feel bad" I snap standing up pacing the room
"So you just admitted you'd much rather die but the problem is people are still going to get hurt" She responds to my statement as I stay standing trying to focus on anything else
"Then what am I supposed to do I'm tired and hurt I just want to give it all up" I ask the doctor with a sadness in my voice earning a pitiful look from Bucky
"I'm going to be straight with you right now you've got to get over it just deal with it and move on"
"Yeah that helps so much thanks I feel way better now" I spit sarcastically, How does she help people like seriously
"If you were anyone else and not an Avenger I'd be nice about it but in my experience with James here things are going to happen and you won't like it but for every bad thing there's a good outcome you guys are out saving the world" She points out and I suppose it's not everyday you've got a depressed superhero in you office
"I guess you're right" I sigh
"I'll put you down for weekly therapy but you must bring those close to you as well so they get an understanding, kind of like when Sam and James came together" She starts writing on her notepad dates for every session and hands it to me with a smile
After we leave the building and get into the car I don't speak a word to Bucky for half the journey and he notices to but keeps quiet until we pull up to the compound he starts to speak
"I know you're mad at me but I knew this would do you good even if you think it didn't give it another go and you'll see" He looks at me with sadness in his eyes and I just nod and get out of the car to go inside
As I get in the team is all in the main room watching TV they all greet me but I walk straight past ignoring them
"Bucky what did you do" I hear Wanda spit before I feel her following me to my room I try to close the door but her magic stops it
"Y/N don't do this again please talk to me don't shut me out" Wanda begs and I just stand there looking at her tears in my eyes
"Shhhh I've got you" She pulls me into a hug and straight away i breakdown crying as she sits us on the bed
After about 20 minutes I start to calm down still clutching to Wanda for dear life it's silent but it's not awkward silence
"You wanna talk about it or do you want to lay here a bit longer" Wanda questions me with a careful tone afraid that i might break
"No I'm good now i just needed this so bad" I say with a slight smile "Just don't be mad at Bucky he's trying to help with therapy like he did but i don't think it's gonna work"
"Okay well I'm going to go make you food and we'll watch a movie tonight if you're up for it" She suggest making me smile more as i nod in agreement
Just as she goes to leave I grab her arm pulling her back for a passionate kiss full of love shocking her
"What was that for?" She questions with a blush "For being the best girlfriend anybody could ask for" I reply
"Oh the things you do to me Y/N Y/L/N"
"Only for you Wanda Maximoff"
