Old Friends (Wanda Maximoff x Y/N)

Chapter 8

Writers POV:

It's 10am the two girls have slept peacefully through the night which is new to y/n considering she doesn't get a full night's sleep ever, Wanda starts to wake and rubs the sleep from her eyes then looks to her side where y/n is still out cold she just smiles as she tries her best to get up without waking the other girl and she almost does,

"So what you're the kind of girl to leave in the morning and not say a word after spending the night" Y/n's groggy voice makes Wanda jump before she turns to look at y/n

"I was going to leave a note and my number" Wanda sarcastically says getting a laugh out of the sleepy girl "I was going to get us coffee I didn't want to wake you, you looked so peaceful" Y/n smiles sweetly at her "We can go get it together now that I'm awake" She runs into the wardrobe and puts on a hoodie and comes out throwing a hoodie a Wanda as they proceed to go downstairs

Y/N's POV:

As we get to the kitchen the whole team is already awake "Look who decided to get up" Clint says while looking at his watch "Hey guys sorry we slept in" I say

"Don't worry you missed nothing important also nice hoodie Wanda" Nat smirks and looks at me with a raised eyebrow as I give her a look that has shut up written all over it

"So listen now that y/n is settled in I think it calls for a little get together" Tony says "What Tony means by little is a huge party" Steve elaborates

"I'm down for a big party I mean it's been a long time since I've been to one so why the heck not" I say waving my arms  making everyone laugh "Great so tonight 7pm don't be late" Tony orders before he walks away and everyone else goes about their day before the party.

*6:30pm*

Just as I finish getting ready for tonight Nat comes barging through my door also ready for tonight and starts rambling "Y/n you're an idiot you know that everyone can see a connection between you and Maximoff except for the two of you and I get that Wanda is a pretty oblivious person but for the love of god just ask her out already" I look at her like she has 3 heads

"Nice to see you too Nat, You couldn't have put that a bit nicer no? I'm not going to lie and say I don't like her but I just don't think she likes me back or even if she's into girls" I tell her and she drops the tough facade she has on "Of course she likes you she doesn't shut up about you, everyone we're together you're the topic if conversation" She says and I start to blush wow could could actually like me

"Yeah but how do I make a move without scaring her off?" I sincerely ask and Nat smile "Go over and ask her to the party just say everyone has a date and I'll work my magic after that" She says and leaves the room

Okay y/n grow a pair you can do this I say to myself and walk across and knock on Wandas door when she opens it my jaw drops and I freeze on the spot

"Earth to y/n" I snap out of my daze quickly and make eye contact with her "I'm sorry y-yo-you just look amazing" I stutter and she giggles "Not to bad yourself Romanoff but is there a reason you're at my door?" She sweetly asks

"Oh yeah everyine is going as couples so I was wondering if you Ms. Maximoff would accompany me to the party" I say in a chivalrous tone "I would be honoured to attend the party with you" She replies kissing my cheek, if I wasn't gone red before I definitely am now this girl gives me freaking butterflies

We get to the door and as I open it I put out my arm for Wanda to take so I can guide her down the stairs and she does as soon as I look at everyone it's all eyes on us, I look over to the bar to see my sister with the proudest smile and I just smile back

"Everyone round of applause for our new team and family member Y/N Romanoff" I hear Tony shout through a mic and everyone starts to clap "Well this is embarrassing" I say to Wanda who just said "You wanted a big party you got a big party" And I just nod agreeing with her

"I'll be back I must go speak with my pain in the ass of a sister, Do you want a drink?" I question her "Surprise me y/n" She replies and I leave her to go to get our drinks from Natasha.
